Wow wow WOW! Ted’s is one of the best things to happen to Stillwater. The food is ridiculously amazing and so so fresh. Every mean comes with a side of chips and queso which is amazing. The inside is so spacious, eclectic, young, and vibrant. Their menu items have the perfect range of options as well as their drink menu’s! You guys will not regret coming here for breakfast/lunch/dinner!

I had the pleaseure of stopping in Ted’s Tacos and Cantina in Stillwater today. This is a beautiful restaurant laid across a lengthy strip center. The space is wide and has a very open feel to it. There’s a large “L” shaped bar with just about everything you would desire to go with a great Mexican meal. Tecate, Modelo (for my friend Alan) Dos Equis, Corona and many domestic Beers They also have many signature drinks like a Watermelon Crawl, Margaritas, and many others.

This restaurant is designed as a cross between fast food and full service. You order at a counter, get a number, and they bring your food to you. There is a bar available there if you wish to enjoy some alcohol as well. Good deals on margaritas everyday.

Whelp, 3 strikes and you’re out. No dingers at this particular Ted’s Tacos & Cantina. Three separate visits with my OSU student, who, has been missing the terrific food and service, of the parent restaurant, Ted’s Escondido and not one player on the menu gets on base.

I pulled up and was greeted by a painfully cringe neon sign. All my friends pointed at it and laughed. Rule of thumb: if a taco place has a city girl sign like that you can be reasonably assured you’re about to pay way too much for some MID tacos. I decided to pop in anyways because I’m trapped in stillwater and wanted to give it a shot. I wasn’t too hungry so I ordered one (1) beef street taco. After two failed attempts to deliver the correct order, it arrived. For more than $6 it was so sad! I just sat there and looked at for about a minute. If the size of the taco wasn’t bad enough, the flavor was mediocre at best. Pain. All in all I think this place is experiencing an identity crisis. Are they going for authentic or that new urban gentrified taco vibe you see today? One thing’s for sure, that taco was not worth $6 at all. Included is a photo of the taco with a card for reference.

The cashier was friendly and helpful. The place was clean, but I’d expect that since they’re relatively new. The food is mediocre in my opinion. I had a wet taco and a fried avocado taco, as well as the chips and salsa and queso that came with them. Personally, I would rate it below fast food. Maybe I got unlucky, but I probably won’t be going again. I wish them the best, but also wish they had better food.

This place was great. First time here and was super impressed! Service was great. Sat at the bar and ordered a margarita. It was very good. The place was super clean! The margaritas are only 3 bucks all day everyday and for that price it was great. Will definitely be back and soon!
