An epic cultural mash-up inside a casino. Tee Jay’s is the delicious and hospitable jelly-filled center of the Cactus Jacks donut. Classic American comforts meet Indonesian flavors – an unlikely match made glorious. Having spent a few months in Indonesia, I fell in love with the people and food, and have delighted whenever finding one of the only 50 or so Indonesian restaurants in America. Tee Jay’s does not disappoint. I can’t wait to return and sample through the menu. For hot sauce lovers don’t miss their house-made version. Oh, and the malty rich sweet & sour sauce over gyoza is a must! Thanks for putting your talents and authenticity into the world.

Great food and great owners. We’ve been looking for an Indonesian restaurant and found TJ’s. He made wonderful nasi goreng and fried chicken. I have a nut allergy that he was very accommodating for. Highly recommend. Owners took time to make us feel very welcomed.

OH MY GOODNESS! This place is delicious! It is a MUST STOP for any travelers. Located in Cactus Jacks casino. Mango fried rice is great and drunken noodles are to die for. They also have great burgers and fries for picky friends. Gyoza are yummy! Everything is made fresh right in front of you. Staff is too notch! I will eat here again and again!!

A little Smokey because you’re in a casino HOWEVER, DO NOT let this deter you from visiting this jewel! This place absolutely needs a cult following and is deserving of a spot in the food channel. Food is made to order, they can only serve 12 people so you may need to wait a minute. We were lucky enough to arrive to a couple empty seats and had an absolutely fantastic meal, tee jay was at the grill and the gentleman that served us was like a professor, he knows every spice of every meal in the joint, amazing wealth of culinary knowledge. Parking is amazingly simple. We WILL be stopping here from now on.

While there isn’t much they can do with the atmosphere due to location, I think they make it work! The food is absolutely amazing too — if you can’t eat it there, take it home and have some later! Super friendly, and super accommodating to different diets! They have vegan, gluten free, all of it! Definitely going to be going back for more again!

This place is full of love, respect, and home cooked meals that aim to please, not just take your money. The two wonderful fellas who run this place want every meal to be perfect to your taste, and give a great conversation with everything they cook. This is not just a restaurant in a casino, this is the place where everyone is welcome and anyone can enjoy something to eat. Tee Jay and Chuck are the best. They are so nice. Chuck welcomed us like we were old friends and we could’ve chat for hours ! We bought dinner to eat at our hotel. We were sorry for arriving so late, it was almost the end of their service but they kindly served us (“8 is 8” i learned). The pineapple chicken and the wontons soup were good. I was lucky enough they had the mango sticky rice dessert left. It was so good, when i ate it, i really felt at home ❤️ !

Delicious, genuine Malaysian food at an affordable price point. The atmosphere in a smoky casino and candor of the chef/owners made this restaurant our most interesting stop after the recent hail storm in Carson City! The chef/owners were extremely conscientious of any guest allergens and dietary restrictions, making it easy for any gluten-intolerant person to interact with their menu. 🙂 You couldn’t find better service in a big city like Vegas!
