This place is nothing like any other Mexican restaurant in our area. The food is fantastic and has very special tastes. The drinks from the bar are outstanding and again nothing like anywhere else. This family owned restaurant owners and employees treat you like family. A very welcoming environment. Cannot recommend enough. When students come back, I promise, it will be worth the wait.

Tekila is a hidden gem that’s tucked away in a more quiet spot that’s less than 5mins from Toomer’s corner. Their menu is extensive and includes more unique options such as delicious birria tacos and Texas rice. The margaritas are great as well and are discounted on Mondays!

I went there couple of times before for dining and loved the food. But today I ordered a take out of Mexican Sandwich (Torta) via call. I specifically mentioned twice that I want a chicken sandwich. But when I opened it, I saw it was mix of chicken and beef (or pork). I had to throw the entire thing. Really disappointed with this service.

probably the best beans and rice i’ve had in auburn since moving here. the cheese enchiladas are v good too but i don’t think i should have gotten salsa verde with them lol. some things just do not go together and that’s okay, esp since it was still a very good meal! also cheaper than expected. it was only around $13 for the chips and dinner combined. salsa is pretty alright too. i think it’s extremely difficult to not find it satisfactory, what you see/read is what you get. i’m excited to try more from here now that the experimental one is out of the way.
