Great service and great food! We went on a Saturday night around 7, there was a little bit of a wait but not too unreasonable. The kitchen was allergy certified and they were extremely cooperative with adhering to our party’s dietary restrictions. Pictured is the pan roasted fresh fish, chicken marsala (the special for the night) and tiramisu.

We had an outstanding meal there this weekend. Not just me but everyone in my party of 7 were CPC (clean plate club) members. Our meals were so good that we asked for more bread at the end of the meal just to soak up the juice/sauce that was left on our plates after eating. Service was also great! Our server, Jeremy, was very professional yet had some whit to him too. Great meal!

DELICIOUS! Our family has ate here during our beach vacation for two years in a row and the service and food has been impeccable each time. This year we had an additional family with us making it a party of 9 and they accommodated us seamlessly. The food is high quality with great ingredients.

Frankly, overall we genuinely enjoyed eating here tonight. The ambience was great, service fantastic (thank you Jeremy, you were wonderful!) Drinks great, Cosmo and Lemon Drops. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars was the flavor. Caesar salad strong sour and dry, and the sauce on my pasta dish rather bland, but taste is very subjective so try it for yourself. Whole Pig pizza was tasty! Bread and oil very good. Music spot on. Great later evening choice, so glad we saw they were open until 10 and went.

Fine but nothing special about our meal. Since it’s touted as a wine bar, I was also surprised that the recommendation from server was vague, i.e. white with chicken. Seemed like a decent menu but not executed very well. Lemon chicken was overcooked, for example and sauce too thick. My husband had white fish and looked like the intent was mediterranean flavors but everything was overly oily and seemed heavy for that reason. Not worth it.

The atmosphere was nice. The staff was fantastic and very accommodating. I was beyond shocked with the food. We ordered the calamari, and the waitress had mentioned, It was not a fried calamari, which I was quite excited about thinking that it was going to be grilled or baked in like a wine sauce. Unfortunately, it tasted as though as it came straight out of the can and it looked that way as well. The pieces were so small and the broth was a milky white. There is no way this was purchased, sliced and cooked that evening. At that point I had already ordered the other course which was the beet salad and the Ahi tuna appetizer. The Ahi was served seared and there was a mention of a wasabi sauce, which I did not find. It was served in a pool of peanut sauce, which I found extremely odd. My husband ordered a Bolognese, which was sold to us that have been cooking for nine hours, and the meat tasted more like pork that have come out of a can. We did not eat much to say the least.

Fav-o-rite! While on vacation in South Haven my wife and I went to Tello Italian Bistro every night we were there. We tried other places for lunch but Tello was far and away the best dinner location in town. We had nearly everything on the menu between the two of us and there were no bad choices. Cocktails were reasonably priced and the wine was excellent. I think my favorite was the lasagna!

Our server was Mckenzie and she was awesome, she was funny and attentive. The food had good flavor and made fresh, nothing warmed up. It was a bit packed but after leaving I could see why. Definitely a must try if visiting South Haven

Found this restaurant on Sunday and decided to give it a shot. First off, our waitress was accommadating, nice and quite funny as well. We started off with the Italian Meatballs and Calamari for our appetizer. That sauce with the meatballs is what made it, and whoever cooked that Calamari knee what they were doing because it was amazingly tender. Main course was the Black Linguine. That, ladies and gentlemen, is well worth the money! How can you go wrong with squid ink pasta with seafood? And finally dessert, which was tiramisu. It was delicious, on par with other quality Italian Restaurants.
