When I decide to choose a place to eat, shop, or in general spend my money I always look at the reviews for the business I plan on visiting… The reviews for this establishment are very alarming… 03/12/23, we decided on Sunday barbecue for dinner, and we decided to take pardon at Telly’s in Lafayette on Moss St, even though the reviews were very low, we chose it anyway to see if they were honest reviews for a restaurant… Parking, was amazing, but when I entered the building Telly’s, I exhale with appreciation for the decor (gorgeous)… My hostess/server was Hailee, she was polite and professional; very informative about the menu… Now a drum roll, the food was to die for, delicious and seasoned to perfection… I had the turkey wing with potato salad and homemade mac & cheese… The wing, tinder and seasoned to the bone, potato salad just like my grandmother made amazing and the mac & cheese, creamy and moist (not hard and stiff)… I hope these pictures do it justice, thank me later… p.s the price is correct for the meal $$…

Food was delicious but my stomach can not tolerate the spice in the etouffe. Really could not enjoy it like I wanted to. The fried fish was on point. A little pricey for the seafood plate. I didn’t expect to pay $21(can’t argue the price due to inflation). Then get looked at crazy for when I had to do a transfer to pay through cashapp/zelle because the machine was down.

Decided to try this restaurant out for the first time on Sunday….. absolutely GREAT idea! Cashier was very respectful and pleasant. Wait time was almost nonexistent, they get you in and out. I purchased three plates for my family and we all enjoyed, will definitely be back.

Omg I can’t explain how fresh and flavorful this meal was. The atmosphere catered to both “my family outing “and I just need a nice meal and drink after a long day personas very equally from the sides to the entrees I can’t tell you which highlights the meal more definitely won’t waste your time stopping here . I wish they had food like this in Ohio

This is a fairly new business. They have been open since November of 2021. It’s a soul food restaurant. The food was pretty good the day I went. They did not have a menu. You would have to call in to see what they are serving that day. According to the owner, Sunday’s are when they have a broader menu and usually that is when they are very busy. The atmosphere was fine with plenty of room to move around. There’s handicap parking but not handicap equipped restroom. They are working on that. They still have some growing to do.

I wish I could give this place a 0 stars. Food is insanely overpriced for its quality. One thing I have noticed is that they put way too much spice in their food. Red flag. When they put too much spice, its to cover up the terrible quality. Fish was slimy, and smelled rancid. “White Beans with Smoked Meat”??? What the heck even is that? Looks like hot dog soup. I would rather drag my bare behind across the pavement until I bleed than eat here again. Food looks like recycled KFC, take the threatening aura it gives as a warning to NEVER eat here. Will never come back.

Was on vacation at Lafayette and decided to stop by for a quick bite. I should’ve known better, food was bland and the owner was very rude. I also got sick soon afterwards so it might’ve been food poisoning. Do not recommend.
