Went in on a slow night ordered the fried chicken and everything was surprisingly good, ramen wasn’t too salty. The oil fresh on the fried chicken. The Chicken ramen did have a few small bits of cartilage but I actually finished the broth and I would come again.

I didn’t take pictures of the bowls and I regret it because they were so delicious looking! I ordered the seafood ramen and the waiter told me that the soup is tomato and not spicy and said I can change it to spicy if I’d liked. She said it’s a common mistake as the red makes people think it’s spicy but it’s not. So thank you to her ! My bf loved his ramen too. It was a nice cozy place and I loved the water thing at the front door . Thought it is a bit pricey since we’re on a budget but definitely delicious. Here’s what we ordered and the total

Enjoyed their Tengu Tonkotsu and Seafood Ramen so far. Really tasty soup and appetizers. Worth the money. Small chill ambience. It’s comfort food for these cool days. Would recommend.

Look I really like this places food but the interaction I had just now makes me not ever want to go back. I made a mistake I admit it and ordered at the wrong location. I can’t make it all the way there so I called and asked if I could get a credit or possibly come after work for a remake. I was told that because they made it already I am out of luck and can’t get it. I completely take ownership of mistake but it is was only an $8 bowl, I wish they would have accommodated me in some way.

I don’t usually post reviews but this one female worker who had no compassion whatsoever prompted me to do it. I had my tooth extracted and needed to get some broth/soup since that’s the only thing I can consume. A wonderful employee was taking my order when this chipmunk comes out of nowhere and starts telling how the owner doesn’t let them sell just the soup. I even OFFERED to pay the normal ramen price but she was just adamant on the fact that her owner was gonna get mad. Shame that this mom pop shop acted worse than a corporate store. I will never come here again and would request the owner to teach their employees some manners, ethics and compassion.

Sneakerhead on a Budget
Wow this might be our new Ramen place. The dumplings were amazing and the fried rice was really good probably the best in bakersfield. Seafood ramen was packed with different seafood. Wife got the chasu ramen and she loved it
