We love this hometown nordic ski place. An experience you will never forget. The trails will give you a workout! They even have sledding for the little guys.

Our group of 12 started our day at the Nordic Center where me all met, had drinks while everyone trickled in and some rented snowshoes. Once the group was ready, we headed up the trail to the cookhouse a little over a mile away. Once we made it to the cookhouse we took in the incredible views and went in for our lunch. Reservations are a must. If you arrive early, you can get drinks while you wait. The food was delicious and the cookies at the end where perfect. With full bellies, we headed back. Can’t wait to return and stay in one of the yurts.

This is a great Nordic ski area. The owner, Ty, is responsive to feedback from customers. We are season ticket holders and offered some constructive concerns with him today about the classic track. He responded thoughtfully. My wife and I now better understand the challenges of setting track everyday. We will be back next year for another season of great skiing.

The Tennessee Pass Nordic center is a great family friendly place and organization. They have fantastic staff, great ski instructors and great trails to X-country ski on. Their prices are extremely reasonable for both the trail pass and rental. Plus, they have an awesome lodge with great food and drinks too.

For me this is a great place to go snow biking (aka fat biking). The nordic center is really charming with outstanding service, coffee and sandwiches. Btw, the cook house is reservations only.

Don’t rent the fat bikes. I was excited to try it out but the bikes are one size fits all (not ideal for us shorties) and poorly maintained. Staff had zero knowledge and had to dig for a helmet and bike pump. Who rents bikes but can’t find where their pump is?!? I went on some of the easiest trails and still had to walk up most hills because the bike just couldn’t handle it. On the flats the bike wouldn’t let me go more than 5-10mph as fast as I could pedal. I road bike and mountain bike in the mountains and have NEVER had difficulty getting up such small hills nor have I ever gone so slow on flat land. You rent a bike and it’s not going to be top notch but come on. I could have made it better with a single gear bike. The gears slipped and sometimes just stopped working. It just wasn’t fun and a huge waste of money ($25 to use the trail and $33 for an hour on the bike I spent mostly walking). Total rip off and horrible experience (which is really really hard to do being outside in such a gorgeous area)

We had such an incredible time having our Rehearsal Dinner at the Tennessee Pass Nordic Center in July. The space was perfect, the views were incredible, and the food was phenomenal. Thank you Erica and team for putting together such a lovely evening. If you’re looking for a space to host an event, we highly recommend the Nordic Center.

Loved this place! Bison burger at the cookhouse was the perfect reward for skiing uphill.

Often overlooked by the throngs at the big resorts, this nordic center is a jewel hiding in the shadows of Vail, Copper Mountain, Breckinridge and Keystone. Located right next to the Ski Cooper alpine resort, so everyone in the family should be satisfied. The nordic center has well marked and well groomed trails. The lodge is comfortable and my only gripe, which is minor, is that the parking is kind of mixed into the busier alpine lots, and maybe a little more trail network would be nice. Dining at the Cookhouse is a special adventure.
