Tried Tenoch on a Tuesday for dinner recently. I ordered a chicken adobado burrito and my husband ordered chicken enchiladas. The food was excellent. The chicken in both the burrito and enchiladas were seasoned perfectly. We also ordered chips and guacamole, and the guacamole was very fresh. We also got a side of habanero salsa which had a unique sweet flavor, which the owner told us was from the way she prepared the habaneros! Overall, we would go back again.

10/10 am going to recommend this place to everyone I know!! So happy this spot opened up in our neighborhood… the chips and salsa were perfection, the pollo en pipian burrito was so tender and full of flavor, and the vegan kale mushrooms chilaquiles were delicious. Everything on the menu sounds sooo yummy and I’ll definitely be coming back for the margaritas 😉

My chicken adobo burrito was excellent. Hoping they’ll add online ordering to make it even more convenient

I’m hesitant to leave this review because this place is such a hidden gem! It’s location keeps it unknown to most of downtown but man! The Molè is so good! I’m always impressed with the different meat I order and never leave hungry! Food is delicious, portions are great, prices are perfect, and the team is so hardworking making delicious food. Great Mexican food.

First time here and I’m in LOVE! The food is very authentic. The staff is very kind and helpful. Not too expensive, either! Three tacos were roughly $10.50 before tip. With the quality of the food, I’d gladly pay it again (and will!).

This place serves apex level freshness in meats. Everything tastes like it has been cooked perfectly. I did 3 tacos with different meats with just pico and the red salsa and feel like the hangover fell right off. This is powerful stuff.

Absolutely delicious flavors. The sauces and the meats are perfectly seasoned and prepared. I really liked the chilaquiles and we had a burrito bowl that was great too. I’m very picky about Mexican food and feel this is a gem. Where can you find homemade real authentic flavor Mexican? This is authenticity and flavor that is extremely rare to find.

One of those hole-in-the-wall places you always hear about with fantastic food. Went there for lunch not expecting much but found the owners working the grill and extremely friendly and helpful. The food was great and prepared quickly. The only comment is that, being a hole in the wall, space is at a premium for seating. Overall, very good.

Healthy portions, great flavor and more authentic than your average Seattle Mexican cuisine. Cafeteria style ordering. Very small space with limited seating and service capacity, avoid the rush hours unless you are taking-out. Mexican soft drinks and real cane sugar Coke but no beer.

Happened to find this small location after spending some time in chinatown. Read the reviews & decided to try it. Should have gone with my gut feeling & walked out. Place looks a bit unclean, stood at the counter for a while before the woman behind it addressed us. Before we started to order she informed us our meat options were limited & started to lift the container lids. Food didn’t look appetizing, but decided to try it(not a smart move). I looked in amazement as she threw my taco tortillas in the microwave to warm them up & waited for the bell. Tties the hot salsa, which was far from it & had no flavor. I’m from Los Angeles & this place is gar from the local taco stands I’m used to. Wouldn’t recommend.
