It’s Teo!! I crave this place when I’m out of town because it’s like a chipotle, but with quality that actually surpasses the best of Mexican and Tex-Mex joints across the Southwest. Doesn’t matter if you’re craving a fatty Tex-Mex “freebirds” style beef burrito loaded with all the toppings or are looking for a dainty veggie-filled taco or small burrito to go, Teo will hastily throw together one of the best Mexican inspired tortilla wrapped treats you can get in this state. The sitting area is usually packed and is very small, but Teo burritos and tacos are great for taking with you to whatever various activities you may be up to around town.

I recently tried Teocalli again, because of a review posted by Jared Howard. He gave this fantastic restaurant zero stars, which leads me to believe he never set foot in the place. The tacos and burritos are great, and the decor warm and cozy. I understand there are new owners, and noticed on my visit that the restaurant seems much cleaner than previous visits. This is a solid go to restaurant for visitors to Crested Butte!

I took zero pictures of our burrito bowls and burrito. They were all so good! I loved the hot sauce and the corn Salas as well. When we go back to Crested Butte it will definitely be our mexican food fix till we get back to Texas!

This place was great. The two guys that were working there were friendly and very hardworking! Food was done quickly. They don’t go light on the fillings for the burritos which I liked, they are very filling. The tacos are also pretty good and the salsa that has habanero in it was pretty good, could have been spicier for me but I like extra spicy so I’m sure it’s hot for most people. This place is not only good, it’s probably one of the more affordable places in Crested Butte to eat at.
