I’ve been coming here for many years since I was a student at Pratt. Even after all those years, the food is still authentic, generous portions and reasonable price. So good!

One of my very favorite places to get food anywhere, under any circumstances. Tepango is the genuine article – a restaurant that offers real Mexican cuisine without artifice or pretention. Each meal is generous, expertly crafted, and well worth your money.

One of the hidden gems of New York City. Tepango is My favorite Mexican restaurant. Their burritos are out of this world. The Super Taco dish is delicious. It is an authentic mexican restaurant run by a super friendly family.

Hole in the wall doesn’t do it justice but I can’t tell you how impressed I was with my al pastor burrito. Full of meat and chunks of pineapple, one of the better burritos I’ve had in a while. The chips seemed homemade but they tasted a little stale, that was my only minor complaint. If you don’t choose to dine inside, there are tables and benches a block away which was extremely convenient.

It sucks when you get a bad avocado. Nothing can save it. It won’t have that creamy texture, it doesn’t have an aroma, it looks greyish and it just ends up tasting like water no matter how you spice it. The chips had no flavor and were disappointing, the guacamole could not be saved. $8 wasted.
