We didn’t have power. So happy that Tequila Mexican Restaurant was open past 9 p.m. They had a good sized crowd even at that time. Food still came out fast.

Good restaurant years ago when we lived in the area. Stopped for lunch with family after the July 4th parade in Steelville. Service was fair along with the food. Never got a refill on my ice tea and had to go to the cashier to get my bill. Will be going to another restaurant when in Sparta next time.

Fish tacos had unseasoned somewhat burned fish in them, no slaw, pico de gallo was tasteless. Pollo loco was tiny and bland, too. Service was poor. This was not our usual experience. We were very disappointed.

Great food got seated quickly. Had to wait way too long to get check. Several staff members walked by and never offered to bring the check. Most places want you in and out. This place thinks its a sleepover.

The Salsa was watery, wouldn’t even stick to a chip also the same way with the quesadilla dip. My daughter and I do not drink alcohol and we asked for a margarita without the alcohol. The young man apparently had to ask another waiter and I told him what we wanted he Replied I’ll be right back. He had the bartender come to our booth and replied they do not have virgin margaritas only pina coladas. Our food came fast, it was awful. It tasted as if it was left over from the lunch menu. We won’t go back.
