Awesome new restaurant that is a worthy successor to the original tequila patio. The frozen margaritas are awesome ! And the chicken flautas are some of the best I’ve ever had. Please show some neighborhood. Love to this new local independent restaurant.

This place used to be a “must go” place for Houston breakfast. Unfortunately it has lost its luster and the buffet has lost its relevance. The atmosphere is boring, the buffet is anemic and the service now sucks. Too bad that this once great place is just a disappointment .

Despite other reviews, I didn’t think it was bad at all. They lost a star because they were out of chicken nuggets for my toddler, but over all food was really good. I enjoyed the veggie extras on the side of enchiladas.

Tried to give no stars but couldn’t review without it. Food was bland and unorganized. We got our fajitas but had to wait 5 mins for the tortillas….so basically we stood at our food. The tea was nasty, the queso was nasty, and we tried to order our daughter choco taco dessert and chocolate cheesecake but they ran out. We just got her ice cream. The beans were cold. The good things is the Astros game was on and the free tequila shot. The crazy part was we went for a birthday.

This place is called “Tila Garten” but you won’t see that anywhere but on the menu which has a very odd & limited selection. So far I have only tried the green enchiladas which were good & piping hot. Server was also very friendly and attentive.

The service was slow. Food was not as good as expected for a Mexican restaurant. If your on a budget, this is a good place.

I used to love coming to this place before covid and I was so excited to return to it to find out that quality of the food had dropped so much. Barbacoa, I didn’t eat most of it it was covered in fat and mostly not meat. The menudo had fat floating in it also not very appetizing. Even the aros con leche didn’t taste like it had cinnamon but it had extra sugar.

Tequila Patio is a hidden gem in the busy city, offering authentic Mexican fare and lively atmosphere. Step inside and you are transported to a tranquil courtyard tucked away from the hustle and bustle, with a fountain bubbling away and bright yellow walls adorned with Mexican decor.

The restraunt turned into a Tila Garten, The food is now worse and now they also got rid of the little toy and candy machines. I really miss Tequila Patio on the first day to Tila Garten. I’m never going back because of it.
