I ended up here just as it opened for the day. The service was fast, the margarita was strong, and the Burrito was HUGE!!! It was also very delicious. I ended up taking half of it home because I had eaten an ear of the street corn-also delicious. Spicy!!! This place is decorated pretty wild-definitely college age targeted. I enjoyed it.

We had a great Valentines Day dinner here. I ordered the torta, and it was really delicious (could easily get this again next time). Portion size on the torta was crazy big. I could only eat half. My husband got tacos (portion size is a lot smaller on those). They don’t really do craft beers, but obviously have lots of fun tequila drink options. The pain killer was really good. Presentation was A+ on all the food and drinks, and service was fast. The waiter took great care of us, and the new owners have really given the place a face lift. New decor is fun and festive! Had a great time out with a couple friends. Service was fairly prompt, especially as it got a little busier throughout the night. The restaurant has fun vibes and we had a nice table in a corner where it wasn’t noisy. My only complaint is the pastor taco didn’t have much flavor to it, though my other tacos were really nice! Had a good time and wouldn’t mind coming back. Our waitress was kind as well.

As much as I wanted to like this place, I didn’t at all. The waiter we had was very matter of fact, not warm and helpful at all. He goofed around a lot and kept inappropriately touching the female employees, it was cringy and uncomfortable to witness. And the worst part was the food. Noting felt home-made or quality in the least. And everything came out so fast, and not in a good way, it was as if they popped it in a microwave and brought it out. We ordered the fruity pebbles ice cream ball, and they just grabbed it from the freezer and put it on a plate with whipped cream because the cereal was all chewy. We’ve been meaning to check out this restaurant for a while and we finally got to it… very impressed!!! They were very busy and pretty long wait but it was a Friday night. Once we finally ate we understood why! Happy hour margs ($3) were delicious and the food was AMAZING. There was a slight misunderstanding with one of our entree orders, but the staff replaced the meal almost immediately with the appropriate corrections! Overall 5/5 from food to drinks, atmosphere, and service! Will definitely be back and be recommending Tequila Taco Bar to everyone (:

I have recently came here w my family. Our waitress Mia (or something similar) was absolutely AWFUL. She was rude and had such an attitude the entire time serving us. We waited 30 minutes for drinks. Absolutely horrid service and she gave no attention to our table. On top of that, she was literally getting a massage in the middle of the restaurant. Honestly go to McDonald’s rather than this place
