Long but worth the read. I’m not sure where this place has been in my life but wow. Very impressed! Arrived with an unscheduled party of 10 on a Friday evening for our visit. We were seated within 5 min and several bowls of tasty chips and salsa were served within seconds of us sitting down. Our primary server, Maria, was very nice, very attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu items. Once our order was taken it was a very short period of time before hot dishes were being served. I tasted every dish at our table and wow. Beef Steak was super tender and tasty. The pork enchiladas were tender and tasty. The beef enchiladas were great in like fashion. The salsa’s were excellent. We literally tried to buy a bottle as we wrapped up to leave but cup of salsa does not travel well. EVERYONE in our party had rave reviews of their food. Portions were sharable size so that was impressive as well. Look at the food pics and know everyone was a savory delicacy. Only down side was not enough room for dessert. Side note but very noticable..our glasses were NEVER empty for more than a few seconds, very impressive! Highly recommended if your in the area. Kudos to the Chefs and staff.

Best Mexican restaurant in Rifle! Their menu card has a picture of the dishes which helps to select the right food for you. Creamy Cheese Enchiladas were yummy and Enchiladas Mi Tierra was delicious. Food comes in large portions. Staff was friendly and service was quick.

Augestine was an absolute delight at the bar. He makes a mean Marg. The Pepe Pino Camarones was “to die for” Staff amazing, patronage amazing & food and drink a step above amazing. Passing through Rifle on I-70? No brainer, Teqiulas you won’t be sorry.

Stopping for the night in this small town, there weren’t many choices for dinner after checking into our hotel. So, we were glad to see Tequilas open right across the street. Since the weather was nice, we sat outside on the patio. Our waitress was friendly and always approached us with a smile and sweet disposition. She made our dining experience pleasant! The salsa was delicious, and most of the food was good, although the chili relleno was not flavored to my liking. The shredded beef taco was good, except it had a hint of a strange flavor mixed in like perfume or something. It’s just not what I’m used to or expected. They have 2 types of chili rellenos, soft and crispy. My husband tried the crispy, and he said it was good. Oh, and the plates of food are gigantic, so you will get your money’s worth!

Edit 4 years later: I changed to a higher rating because I have been here two more times in a span of a few years. They were so accommodating for our large groups, and their food seems even better. It is now a staple to go here when visiting my family in Rifle!!

While I do think the food here is pretty good I would honestly say it’s a but pricey, 5 normal tacos ran us $20. Is it worth it? Ehhh I guess it is. The staff is friendly and attentive so no complaints there. If you really want some Mexican restaurant experience I would give here a 8/10

Called and put a take out order in since the website isn’t up and running yet. Whoever answered the phone was rude and said that the order would be ready within 10 to 15 minutes. Ok. No problem. Got there within 15 minutes and our food was sitting on a table and cold. Spent $50 on food that we had to take home and put in the oven to warm up and eat. Will never go back
