Was decent Mexican for strip mall and close to home. Staff friendly (place was mostly empty as we were there early evening). Everyone liked their food especially the orange chicken in pineapple and the tilapia.

My family and I visited Tequilas Mexican Bar and Grill recently. Our server was very pleasant and efficient. The restaurant is very colorful and cheerful. We ordered quite a variety of dinners from fajitas to tostadas. Everything was hot and delicious and served in very large portions. Meals are very reasonable, from $15-$25, and we all took leftovers home.

I have visited this location a few times in the past year. It was never over crowded, it was always clean, the food is totally fresh and DELICIOUS!!! I keep forgetting to take pictures of my meals….but trust me they are served beautifully.

Came here for lunch on a Saturday, we both got enchiladas (my husband had the chicken I had the cheese enchiladas from the vegetarian section of the menu). My husband is from Texas and has been nothing but disappointed with Mexican restaurants in the northeast, but he enjoyed his meal and said it was authentic and he would come here again! I thought the portions were great for the price, but wish there were a few more vegetarian options…. that said having been to Mexican restaurants in Texas and Mexico, there is usually a limited selection. Its not a showstopper, just something to be aware of. Pro tip: when they bring out your chips and salsa, ask for the spicy salsa that they make in house. I would call it “medium hot” not hot, but it has a great flavor! Waitstaff were helpful and attentive. We will be back!

I’d give 0 stars for today’s visit if I could. We have ordered take out from them many times and have dined in a few times and have been generally pleased but tonight was awful. We waited 2 hours for our food. The service was terrible – we never even got menus. Never checked to see if we wanted more chips or water or anything while we waited. We tracked our server down multiple times to check on our meal to which we were told it would be coming soon. The meal finally came and mine was wrong. They didn’t offer to comp the meal or take a percentage off, offer us a credit for next visit, nothing. Not even an apology from a manager. They have lost our business completely.

The food was really good and the server is friendly. The reason I took out one star out of five is because we had to wait for the food to come for 45 minutes when there was only another group of people in the restaurant. I don’t know why the service was so slow. But there are some more food I’m interested. Definitely it’s worth giving it another try.

Love the food but they are always short staffed and people wait 15-20 minutes just for menus, & water. The wait staff is friendly, but they need more help bc 1 person for a dinner crowd isn’t enough. Also, patio is nice, but no umbrellas so it’s too hot to eat out there.
