I’ve come here on and off since I was 18. I’m 27 now and I still think about it whenever I want sushi or a bento box! Great portions, amazing staff, wonderful food all around. I will admit in my younger years I’d come here almost every day to the point where the staff knew who I was as soon as I called to place my order! Great place!!!! Definitely recommend!

Loved It!!! Best Fresh Sushi in East Los Angeles! Surprise! surprise! I was shooked! We ordered the Spider Roll, Avocado Roll, Rainbow Roll and the traditional Teriyaki bowl. There’s a little Japanese Man making the Sushi all by himself. Extremely traditional so for your own convenience order ahead of time or don’t go during peak hours. I waited 40 minutes but it was actually worth it! I devoured my food and realized I didn’t snap a photo. So I only have a pic of Avocado Roll and Spider Roll, my apologies

Don’t let the looks of this place fool you, the fish is fresh and sourced well. It tastes much better than some of the fancier sushi joints in town and the sushi is impeccably prepared. The one chef who runs this place is clearly knows what he is doing. This is a true hidden gem.
