Good to have a place around the neighborhood with some decent gumbo. Their Turkey and Sausage Gumbo is always good. Most places just do a seafood gumbo, but it’s nice to find a place that makes the kind of gumbo that my mom always made!

My goodness, I haven’t been there for years because they messed up the fried chicken, was the best around when Tessie had the place, she passed and the chicken went south. Well i looked on the website and saw some good reviews, so i ordered the fried chicken, it was not good. How can someone fry chicken without adding some kind of seasoning to the batter.

Nice friendly staff at this restaurant. We ordered drinks, of course, appetizers and the main dish. There were four of us. It took longer than normal for us to get our food. This did not bother us since we were able to just have a long conversation in the meantime. Once the food was out it was a very wonderful experience. I personally had and enjoyed the Alfredo noodles and shrimp.
