I came here for the first time a few weeks ago and the fried catfish was so good. It was perfect and crispy and I couldn’t wait to come back. The fries were good, the mashed potatoes were cold, but it didn’t matter to me because everything else was really good. Our server was great too, I wish I remembered her name. I thought about the catfish all week and couldn’t wait to come back and eat it again. The second time I came here the catfish didn’t taste the same at all. It tasted fishy, the breading was chewy and honestly it was kind of gross. It was nothing like when I first had it. I was so disappointed when I left. The only thing that was consistent was the same great service we got from the same server as before.

My friend recommended this place and he is right. Although it’s passed crawfish season but they do have crawfish tail and it’s soooo good. I was a little bit disappointed when they told me no boiled crawfish but the waiter recommend this crawfish tail instead and that just made my day. It’s really creamy and the rice is fully cooked(many American restaurants don’t know how to cook rice) also a little bit chewy. It’s a little bit spicy when you take the first bite but the hot would go away very quickly after that you will taste the light sweet of the crawfish and strong cheese flavor. You will find lot’s of crawfish tails. I gave 4 star because there were only 2 waiters to served the whole restaurant and we waited for a little bit too long to get our food. But their food is absolutely amazing

The service was super fast and friendly, the soup (gumbo and tomato basil) were AMAZING!!! we got the lunch special for $9, catfish with mixed veggies and chicken fried chicken with mashed….yall I’d be lying if I didn’t say this hit the spot!!! The food was on point, I could’ve used pepper BUT that didn’t stop me from destroying the food. Husband enjoyed his too. Beers are cold and affordable, I’m fanning over the food and forgot the mozzarella sticks it actually has cheese and isn’t hollow like others (worth the pain I’ll go through later). Can’t wait to come back!!

I ordered some wing double fried and I am in shock. I thought double fried mean hard fried no chard and burnt. I have had wings here before and it did not look like this. I have read new management. If this is the case this is not what I expected or asked for

First time ordering from Tewbeleaux’s, but had always been curious about the food and had just read the wings were good. I called to place a to go order, and I’ll be honest, I didn’t exactly know what I needed to order, but I wanted boneless chicken wings. Not long after being on the phone, the person taking my order seemed like me placing an order was an inconvenience for her, didn’t bother to ask my name or who would be picking up the order, and because I could tell she seemed bothered having to take a to go order, I asked her to repeat the order back to me just to make sure it was correct. Well, needless to say that when my wife picked up the order and brought it home, not only were the wings honestly not great and they didn’t give us the ranch dipping sauce like I asked for, but instead of getting bone-in wings like I specifically asked for, we got boneless wings. My wife is gluten free and can’t have the boneless wings, so after craving wings and having to smell them on the way home, she couldn’t have any. I stayed away from some of the other traditional wings places because of theirs reviews, and almost called back to cancel my order after the person taking my order made me feel unappreciated as a customer. Looking back, I should have done that and simply went with some other place. Needless to say, I don’t anticipate ordering from this place again.

Tewbeleaux’s is a bar with a “hometown” feel. The bar staff is friendly and the food is delicious. Their daily food specials are tasty, especially the wings and tacos. This bar/restaurant has weekly Bingo and karaoke just for a fun night out with friends. Recommend to anyone, including families for a place to hang out and not spend a fortune.

New ownership is doing a great job! If you have had a bad experience in the past definitely give this place a second chance. They deserve it! The wings are fantastic double fried or grilled is the way to go!
