I will start off by saying I don’t even typically like BBQ food. But this place is doing it right. The brisket melts in your mouth, and that’s with taking it home to eat. The cornbread is moist and the beans and mac were the perfect sides. Good luck picking which sauce you want because they’re all good. All in all, this place doesn’t just have amazing food but the service is impeccable and the owners are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. We will be returning customers always.

Our first visit to Tex-A-Lina was a big thumbs up. We had the brisket (quite delicious), chicken (also delicious, but has a kick) and several sides. We absolutely loved all the sides. Cornbread was first rate. We bought the 2 meat combo and that was more food than 2 of us could eat. We’re glad you’re so close so we can visit again!

I have been meaning to try this place out after smelling the wonderful aroma in the air while walking into the grocery store next door. Today was that day. My wife and I stopped in not knowing what to expect. All I can say is the food was incredible. We are visited many BBQ places in the area and this one knocks their socks off. I had the pulled pork & brisket platter. They both melted in my mouth. The bark on both was packed with flavor. Very moist and portions were fair also. The sides were good but the meat was the star of the show. I recommend giving them a try.

Only negative is when I called to place take out order I was on hold for 10 minutes and could hear the conversation with customers. They forgot me so I hung up and called back. Everyone gets distracted at times so I wasn’t upset. Food portions were generous. The smoked beans and fries were my favorite items. Pulled pork was good

Food is not to bad their portions are fine. The service is the pits slow as heck the guy making your food has to run the cash register also orders get behind and the are always asking someone else for something from the back. They need more training .

Passing thru Denver and stopped for early dinner. Food and service was outstanding. Don’t normally eat dessert, but strawberry shortcake was outstanding. Owner and son came out to check how how we liked the food. Highly recommend!
