Clean, little family owned restaurant. They have specials that aren’t on the regular menu. My hubby loves the chicharrone burrito. The tamales are awesome. The green salsa ( thier hot one) is delicious. I cannot get enough. We enjoyed talking with the woman in the front of the establishment about food. We will definitely return. Check them out!

Dined in for lunch and got a barbacoa burrito. I was worried it would be a bit dry but that was not the case. It was great on its own but it also came with a large bottle of homemade green salsa so you can add as much or as little as you’d like. The chips and the salsa that came before my meal were (no joke) probably the best I’ve ever had at a Mexican restaurant. The Mexicana Torta with Asada was the best I have EVER had.

The food here is AMAZING. I would go everyday if I could! Super affordable, the food came out fast, and I like how they had pictures of the menu items. The service was great and the woman helping us at the front was very kind! The tacos are delicious, and I’ve never had a hot dog as good as the chipotle dog here!! Definitely check this place out!

Hot fresh food! Great service. Smaller restaurant in a plaza with table service. Chips and salsa were very original with chunks of avacado. Two sauces for the table. No adult beverages. Lots of free parking.

Stopped in on a long road trip and grabbed Birria tacos to go. It’s a cute little family owned (based on appearance) restaurant with traditional Mexican dishes. The Birria was good, I’m a bit picky with the consume and it could’ve been a bit thicker but overall it hit the spot. The staff was pleasant and the service to go was quick and had us back on the road in no time.

April 13, 2021 – Still delicious but music was uncomfortably loud. I had birrhia tacos again. One child had a burrito. One had the pizza hot dog. All was excellent. Tex Mex Columbia is not too far away from the Riverbanks Zoo.

I tried the Mulitas Texmex and the street taco with pork…amazing, so flavorful. The meat in both dishes was well-seasoned and not dry at all like I’ve had at other Mexican restaurants. Buried under all those yummy toppings are 3 empanadas that I bought for lunch tomorrow, looks and smells so good! I will definitely be coming back to try more items.
