I finally visited the Tex Mex Connection after working half a block away for over six years, and smelling the delicious scents that waft out of this place. Anyways, I was not disappointed with my visit. We sat in the upstairs eating area and were quickly waited on. Our server took good care of us, making sure that our drinks were refilled when needed. The food was very good, starting with the chips and salsa. We had some wings for an appetizer, as well as the bacon wrapped coconut shrimp, and they were all terrific. Our meals took a little bit to arrive, but we had plenty of food already. Everyone in my party liked their food. I had a half rack of ribs and french fries. The ribs were cooked well and had a ton of meat on them, but the meat was a bit dry. I didn’t like the sauce they put on the ribs, as it was more of a salsa type of sauce, instead of a traditional barbecue sauce and the flavor just wasn’t right for me. But all in all I was quite happy with my experience here.

Quiet upstairs dinner before the holidays get crazy. Very nice and Quick service. Had enough Vegetarian options to satisfy my wife and I. The margaritas are great and they recommend if your going to get more than 4, the pitcher is cheaper. Guacamole is very good too. Look forward to going back soon!

Great place !! I highly recommend coming here. They have a wonderful selection of food and 3 different type of seating areas (covered outside, bar, restaurant). We ordered a bunch of different foods and all are great. Also, the chair designs are very cool.

Decided to come here with some coworkers for happy hour. Heard some pretty good things about the food and drinks so thought this would be a good place to go.

Sat at the bar…. Bar tenders not friendly and never asked us if we needed anything. I asked to close out the tab and she stated she has other people yo wait on and it’s not all about you. Went upstairs to eat and was told there is no seating available. I asked how long will the wait be and they said no time soon it’s going to be a long time. I would have waited but they acted like they didn’t want us to stay. Asked to speak to a manager and no manager was there! I will never return.

The fajitas are azing. However, this past Wednesday happy hour tacos ( 2 for $6) were not hot and the mix of salsa and cheese was more like commercial salsa than a home made taco mix. The margarita was superb!

Best margaritas I’ve had and very strong. Great place to come for some drinks and have a good time. Come early before it’s get too busy on Friday/Saturdays.

We sat at a table in the bar. When we first got there, a bartender came around to get our order, which led us to believe that the bartender would continue to do this sporadically throughout the night. That was the only time we got table service for the remaining 3 hours we were there. I don’t recommend going and sitting in the bar area for trivia unless you want to spend 10+ minutes waiting at the bar for a drink separate from your table. Parking is cramped (which wasn’t a problem for us but is something good to know ahead of time if you aren’t familiar with the place.)

This place is actually foul. Margaritas are poured from a premade jug, salsa too. I guess I should have expected this from $6 happy hour $6 margaritas. Bartenders also seem like they hate their life and I would too if I worked here. Would not recommend to anyone. Also the bar doesn’t put glasses in a dishwasher, they dunk them in a sink of water a few times and that’s it…definitely a health code violation, yikes.
