A little side trip from our Summer Pizza Tour 2022…an awesome lunch today at Texas Hot Weiner Lunch in Hanover, PA. Cool little place. Excellent hot dogs. I got one with chili/cheese, one with cheese, one with mustard. Jason got two plain. Good tasty chili cheese dog. Fries were OUTSTANDING. Crisp and tasty. They carry Pepsi products.

It was very new experience to me. I’m used to the burger and hot dogs with different seasoning and sauces. But the hot dogs and burgers here are different, but very comfortable to eat. I will visit again when we come back visiting.

It is so rare to find a mom and pop establishment to eat at in these post covid-19 times, where I’ve moved from the last mom and pop closed up due to..you guessed it (covid-19). The new owner turned it into a vegan juice bar (oh my). Texas hot weiner has such a great atmosphere, the staff puts you first, they serve awesome food to. So excited to go back for a weiner!!

I got the hot dog special. I barely finished one of the dogs. Large plate of hot fries. Service was good even though I think there was only one waitress. She did a good job! I’ll be back!
