I’m from Alabama, and this was one of THE BEST BBQ plates I’ve had on this side of the country. I got the rib dinner with potato salad, cornbread, and hot bbq sauce. It was fantastic. The fact that you do not need teeth to eat it is it 100% true. Amazing. Corn bread was everything I wanted and more The potato salad doesn’t look like anything I’ve had before so I was skeptical at first but it was delicious. I’m looking forward to trying more of their sides but not ordering these two will be difficult. I will say the next time I go I’ll get the regular instead of hot sauce because it was too hot for me. Also the man making the food was extremely pleasant to talk to. I can’t wait to get this again and will take anyone who wants good barbecue here.

I really wanted to like it. The owner had a great personality and had good customer service. We sampled the brisket and it was good, so we ordered some of everything on the menu. Sadly, when we began to eat all the meat was extremely over smoked. The sides were basic in taste. Not to mention we all ended up with stomach issues afterwards. We had to throw it all away. I sincerely hope this was a rare instance, but I’ve said I will always give an honest review no matter what. My honest opinion is I will not go back. Especially when one of the people that ate the food and got sick is pregnant.

My experience at Texas Rib Shack: We put in our order of the dinner combo ($16) all is well. A very nice gentleman gives us a sample of 2 new vitamin drinks. Very good by the way. We purchased the mango strawberry one for $10 (a bit pricey). I see another man sorting the meat he was going to place in our box and then folded up the rest. We get our order and I decide to taste it while we make a pit stop at a convenience store. The flavor is amazing! BUT… it was mostly fat. Very little meat. I called up the store to let them know and the guy who answered asked me for my cell number and said he would send me something by text to make up for it. That was about 2 hours ago. Hope his word is good. I gave them 2 stars because the taste was good but also because of the way the guy purposely picked out the pieces of fat he wanted to give us. Unfortunately we won’t be back. No text needed. Thank you.

*PLEASE READ* My bf and I are from Texas and we were craving BBQ so we stumbled on this place. Lemme tell u..this is TEXAN BBQ. All the meat I had literally melted off the bone, the Mac n cheese was gooey and perfectly seasoned, the cornbread was nice and sweet as it should be! And the sauce was the best sauce I’ve ever had on any ribs. The prices weren’t outrageous for BBQ and had all my favorite options from back home. I felt like I was at my uncles cookout. The owner and his wife work there personally and attending to every need with the biggest smiles. They genuinely were so happy to be there serving us! And while we’re eating you can see the meat smoking in the smoker. which we thought was SO cool. My belly is full and I will be coming back❤️

BEST BBQ IVE HAD IN A WHILE… BIGGEST FLEX IS THE “FREE TASTE TEST” WHICH IS BLARING ON A LOUDSPEAKER NEAR THE RESTAURANT IN A OLD TACO TRUCK WHICH IS HYPNOTIZING… VERY GENEROUS BUSINESS OWNER WITH HIS TWO YOUNG DAUGHTERS GIVING IT THEIR ALL… THE RIBS ARE TO DIE FOR!!! Not going to lie i was pretty dissappointed. $18 for a “dinner” and it definetly did not fill. The cornbread was cold ,mushy at the bottom and the top was brittle.
