Hands down the best steak I’ve had in a long time, the food is great. The only issue with this visit was we made the mistake of forgetting our IDs at home so when it came time to order our drinks at the very start of the evening, we were given a timid no. Even though we had electronic copies available to show photos and age. The manager came into okay and stated it was fine but it would be the servers decision, which of course she timidly said no. I was looking forward to that frozen drink. Really!. One night a week away from work and everything else stressful just to be denied something legally available to me for almost 16 years now. But food 5 service 2 at best, except for the hostess.

I love it here, the bread they made with their butter is wow!! I usually get steak with chicken! This time i got smokehouse burger. It was very good, it comes with french fries. Their salad is vey good, they made their own ranch and croutons! Fabulous. Definitely suggested!!

Some of the best steaks we’ve ever had. Staff seems to rush you after about 15 minutes with your food… Asking if we need a box… Asking if we want dessert… Asking if we need a check… Obviously they want to turn the table over as fast as possible. I had the best hamburger in my life at this restaurant and the fried pickles were extremely good as well. It has a country atmosphere…music, birthday dancing. But you don’t need to be a country fan to come here. Just come for the food. Highly recommend this restaurant.

The food was great. The service was fast with a minimal wait time. All of the staff were friendly and made it a fun experience. Our server Alex was fantastic, and he was checking on all of his tables on a regular basis. Music was audible but not too loud that you couldn’t have a conversation. Overall, it was a great experience!

This is an excellent place to get any type of meat. My daughter has a dairy allergy and they take food allergies very, very seriously (you would think all restaurants would, but sadly they do not)! We always get top-notch service here as well. I particularly like the schedule ahead option too. Tonight, we also had the pleasure of running into Isaac (he used to be a bus person at Red Samurai) who is a bus person at TR. This guy has the most infectious smile, really loves people and I can tell you he made every single birthday at the Red Samurai memorable and special for me and my family (he was really one of the main reasons we liked celebrating birthdays there). I really hope he will be considered for a server position at TR because he is truly an under worked employee – he has so much potential when it comes to working with customers, that I would like to see him in a more direct position with customers.

I was at the New Hartford location yesterday with my son, my son is special needs and it was his birthday. When we walked in I told the hostess it was his birthday, we were seated I told the waitress it was his birthday. He ordered a drink and the waitress took our order. we waited maybe 15 minutes, another server brings us the appetizers. I asked the server if they can go get my son’s drink. shortly he finally got his drink. my son ordered the country fried steak with fries and apple sauce, I ordered the steak and shrimp. we get out food and the manager comes over to check on us Again I mention his birthday and I tell her I’m missing my shrimp and he was missing fries. My son said the white sauce on the steak tasted gross, I took a bite and all I could taste was flour. manager comes over again, she removed the steak off the bill. I asked if they can at least wish him happy birthday. she said yes, asked my son if he wanted a brownie or cheesecake. my son asked for the cheesecake. the manager drops off the cheesecake in a Togo container and walks away. the waitress brings me the bill and I complained about our overall experience. my son’s feelings were beyond hurt and had tears. I asked the waitress if they could please recognize my son’s birthday. She finds 2 people who were cleaning tables to finally do a birthday shout out. my overall experience was horrible and I did the best I could to make my son feel special. I will never recommend going there again!!
