My husband and I took my sister to Texas Roadhouse for her birthday lunch. It was great! They both had the steaks, and I had the pulled pork sandwich with steak fries. It was absolutely the best. I highly recommend giving Texas Roadhouse a try!

I usually love Texas Roadhouse. It’s one of the few chain restaurants that usually is consistently good. However, on this night we were very let down. Mostly because of the service but some of the food too! We had a very rude waitress (Mercedes) she had two tables that were one big group but separated and us (table of 3 adults 2 kids). She always had a ugly attitude and seemed frustrated to be there. My tea was empty and I asked her nicely for a refill and she told me it would be a while she was too busy with her 12 top. hmm what!? As for the food, it was pretty good except baked potato tasted like straight up pickle. It was gross and I am unsure why I would taste like that. My daughters steak bites that were ordered medium were burnt to a crisp. Also, while we were there an incomplete party was sat next to us. They were served drinks and bread. Turned out a few more ended up coming and they didn’t fit at that table anymore, not a big deal, they were accommodating to them. However, when they got up to go back to wait for a larger table that one was never fully cleaned. A young kid simply wiped up the cup rings and restacked the plates that they had already been touched. It was not fully reset and the poor next people used possibly contaminated plates. Yuck! I hope Texas Roadhouse doesn’t fall through the cracks like so many others.

Hands down the best steak I have ever had, flavor was incredible, cook was bang on, I had the porterhouse. Sides were good, I personally prefer my fries a bit more crispy but that’s just my preference. The brownie was also very good, chewy center with crunchy edges.

If I waa cooking the steak I might have put less salt on it. But we loved the hot rolls and butter. Salad was really good not a fan of the croutons never have been unless it’s the ones from ruby Tuesday. Loaded baked potatoes really good. The Arnold palmer tea was really good. If they would have put less salt on the steak I would have given a 5 star.

Always a great place to eat. The service is fast, the atmosphere is lively, the drinks are super tasty. I love the free hot rolls and yummy cinnamon butter. My husband can’t get enough of the free roasted peanuts. Highly recommend!!

They do one of the best take outs in town. I was very pleased with packaging, cooked correctly and nothing missing a huge plus. Made 10 minutes to home and everything was still steaming hot, salad cold, rolls warm. And I like in and out for pick up, easy parking and separate entrance.
