This place is great, you can tell a good restaurant where people are lining up outside the establishment before they open waiting to be the first ones in. Customer service was completely friendly and well organized. The food was delicious steak for my friend and I actually went with the chicken strips because they just look so amazing I couldn’t pass them up and yes they were the best chicken strips I’ve ever had. I went with the loaded potato and broccoli as a side and it was wonderful I know potatoes seem like a no-brainer but I’ve had bad potatoes before and they did a great potato.

Texas Roadhouse did a phenomenal job for my wife and I on our date night, we had some very tasty blended margaritas, their cinnamon butter and rolls were so good! Then our onion blossom came out, such a great, if I had to come again just for one item, it would be the onion blossom! I had shrimp with my steak and loaded mashed potatoes, my wife had the chicken strips with her steak, super good, we were full half way through our meal.

Staff was great and quick to take care of dietary restrictions. The sirloin was juicy and flavourful. Both the side salad and caesar salad were lacking in flavor. Fresh vegetable side was very good but dripping with butter. Six ounce sirloin cooked “rare” with fresh vegetables pictured.

Food was great. Tried the Cactus Blossom thing and filled up on that before our meal even came! Was a bit disappointed with my kids’ Mac n’ cheese… looked just like the boxed stuff. They still loved it though!

If I could leave more than 5 stars I would. Excellent service and great atmosphere, that’s all Texas Roadhouse locations. But the food too was amazing! That Potato was something else! I’m going to make a point of coming back next time I am in Coeur d’ Alene.

My only real complaint is we went in to enjoy a great dinner and the free loaded potato as advertised. Well the service and the meal was great but when I reviewed the bill when I got home they hit us up for the loaded potatoes, total of $3.28. Not worth the gas to go back and complain, but will make me look at the bill more closely next time.
