Food was great. But the bathroom could have used a good cleaning. There was trash and toilet paper on floor. My waitress was on on her phone the entire time. Only came to our table once to take order and once to bring food. Never saw her again at my table. She was sitting at the bar playing on her phone when I went to bathroom.

We were traveling and come across this steakhouse. Its very casual. Pleasant atmosphere. Music is awesome. I’m a picky eater and the cook made my burger perfect. Definitely will come back if I’m in the area.

Was a terrible experience all around from the beginning. Had the family there, we waited an hour for some wings. The place wasn’t busy at all. We decided to leave, when I went to find the waiter to let him know. He was elbow deep in someone’s fried mushrooms that was being sent to a table for an appetizer.

The food was cheaply made and expensive to be so cheaply made. Very smoky in karaoke area. Floor was slippery in dining area, waitresses liked to talk and stand around while we waited for our food and we were brought the wrong drinks . Waitress also did not know what all was in the drinks. However it was a good atmosphere, fun and relaxing atmosphere despite the other challenges. We will be returning . Hoping things go better the next time around.

Continues to decline. We liked it when they opened. Had a terrible time there on father’s day, they took over an hour to get our order took the table. Stopped in Sunday for a burger . It was just okay. If I hadn’t needed to kill time waiting for another shop in the strip center to open, would not have visited.

Had the chicken salad sandwich. Wouldn’t order it again. To salty and to much mayo. Husband got hamburger was good but over cooked the meat. Waitress was friendly. Give her five stars.

Ordered surf n turf….salad came first veggies were fresh vinaigrette dressing was flavorless and like gel. Ordered steak medium well came out WELL DONE ice cold baked potato wouldn’t even melt the butter grilled shrimp were good. $65 for hubby and myself to eat, Would be fine if food was special. NOT AT ALL.

I wish I could have given zero stars. We walked in and were seated quickly but then the cigarette smoke hit us. We were informed that a couple of guys at the bar were smoking. My thought was, Longhorn has a bar but I don’t have to smell smoke while I eat. I ordered a ribeye steak with “gun powder” cooked medium. I got a paper thin steak with no gun powder and it was cooked to way past well done. Also, my baked potato was so cold the butter wouldn’t melt on it. They remade my meal. I am 55 years old and tgis is the first time in my life I have ever sent food back. I’m not that picky and I never complain. So that should tell you how bad this experience was. The second steak they brought me had the slightest tinge of pink. I still would have called it more on the well done side. I think they brought me the same potato I had but they heated it up and put some fresh sour cream on top. This is the last time I will walk thru the door of Texas Steakhouse in Clanton. Save your money. Do not go there!

Inconsistent. I’ve been here 4-5 times and it’s usually a hit or miss. Today during lunch, my steak was not cooked medium rare, no seasoning on steak, only had a butter knife to cut my steak with, mashed potatoes were luke warm, and service was extremely slow. Defintiely not worth $22 for the ribeye I ate today. I tried supporting this restaurant, but I’ve given up.

My family went to here when they first opened. My husband ordered filet well done butterflied, it came out medium rare, I ordered ribeye and it was supposed to be medium and it was well done. We sent both steaks back my husbands came back cooked well, mine came out cooked medium well, so I sent it back again. The owner was rude and said the steak was cooked good enough and refused to recook it. I should have never went back, but there aren’t many places to eat here in Clanton. So last night we go back and I order a filet medium with baked potato. The steak came out butterflied and well done, so I send it back and they recook me another one. It comes out rare! I mean cold in the center. I sent it back and finally after my potato was cold it came out. I figured there was no way their cooks were still this bad at cooking considering they have been open a while now, but boy was I wrong. I will probably give the place one last shot in the future, but will not order steak because I don’t think they know how to cook steaks.
