Took my girlfriend for her birthday. She asked me could she get the Marshall Dillon for her birthday as a joke. The waitress took notice. After we were almost done with our meals, she & the remaining wait staff came out to do the birthday cheer. It was cool. Texas is her favorite steak restaurant.

This was the worst experience I have ever had at a dining establishment. I could understand the fact that it was busy so the 30 min to be seated did not bother me at all. When we were seated they told us that they had run out of silverware because they had been so busy. We placed our order and patiently waited, the drinks and appetizer came out with no problem at all. However, we sat there for 45 minutes after we received our appetizer and still did not receive what we had ordered. The waitress finally came by and asked us if we had gotten our food yet, by that time we’d had enough, I asked to put the food in a to go box and to get the check. All this while a couple beside us that was seated at the exact same time was finishing their meal. The waitress came by with the check and then another 15 minutes later came back with the food. We paid and then proceeded to the car, I decided to check the food to make sure it was correct, when I inspected the brisket I had ordered I found it to be cold and less that room temp. My wife had ordered beef tips it was literally less that 4 oz of beef in the whole dish. Overall this is one place that doesn’t need be concerned with my business any longer.

First visit in a while. Had the all you can eat ribs.(Thursday) Ribs were wonderful. Just the right amount of crunch from the grilling super tender on the inside. Bones pulled right out. Service was exceptional. Very friendly and kept our drinks full, never forgot anything and made the visit even better. The rolls she brought out were cooked perfectly, warm and light. No complaints. I only have it 4 stars because my last 3 visits ( over the last 4 years) have been very much less pleasing. If this type of food and service keeps up this place will do well again.

The food is good. Just good. Not over the top extraordinary, not bottom of the barrel bad. It’s good. The cooks sometimes have difficulty in adhering to the rare, medium-rare, medium, medium-rare, and well done rules of steaks and just send everything out one way. Usually that way is well done. For the most part however the food IS tasty and the atmosphere pleasing. Just don’t go on a holiday, such as Mother’s Day, and expect to be seated promptly. You’ll be waiting a while. ☺

Well all I can say is that this place has never gotten better. We have tried over and over to give this place the benefit of the doubt but it never pans out. The manager always tries to blame the kitchen or wait staff. In our most recent experience the manager came to the table after we sent a raw steak back, wanting to know why we didn’t like the steak. Well, we will not be going back. All I can say is if you go do it at your own risk.

We’ve been here a couple times before and had a good experience, but last night was not good. The food was still good and the waitress was friendly, but it took forever to get our meal. We arrived around 630pm but didn’t eat until around 750. That’s WAY TOO LONG. we’ll try again and hope for better luck. If it’s a trend I guess we’ll find a new spot.

My husband and I ordered take out for Valentines Day since we were home with the kids. We love ordering take out from this place because they never forget anything, every butter, sauce, napkin and utensil is perfectly packed. We expected for this holiday to be busy even for a pick up and it was but food was still done in the time promised online. Connie has become a favorite of ours when we go in because she has everything ready to go for us and knows what we order. Even on this busy night it was nice to be greeted by a manager. They simply do a fantastic job and the food is yummy!

The wait was absolutely horrible. Coming from upstate New York heading to Emerald Isle took two and a half hours to get seated fed and out. Food was decent. Waitress over talked me when I asked questions. Other staff talked to the waitress when she was helping us. For kids there is only lemonade and orange juice. There isn’t even an option of apple juice. I would never recommend going here unless you aren’t in a rush and need to get our quick. Two and a half hours of my life and if I went elsewhere I could of been to my beach house an hour and a half sooner. And food wasn’t even all that great Bojangles down the street would of been better
