New cozy place decorated with local artists works on the walls. Clean, fresh atmosphere with attentive staff and varied selection of entrées. We opted for the day’s special of fish and chips. The plates were delivered quickly as the place was not busy. The portions a bit on the small side, the fish was four thin pieces, a handful of fries partnered with two hush puppies complimented by a homemade tarter sauce at $11.50. We were unable to try the appetizer we wanted as they were out of brie and croissants. I would’ve liked to make this a five star and hopefully with the next visit we can.

Beautiful well laid out dinning space. It is clean and the decor is very tasteful. The staff is friendly and efficient. The service is quick and we didn’t have to wait for a table or our meal to come out. The menu is great as it is hard to choose what you would like to eat. But the proportions are small compared to other local eateries and they cost about the same. Our pita bread with our appetizer and the toast to my BLT tasted scorched. The BLT would have been the best one I ever had if it had not had that flavor to it. They will get there and I will be back to give them another try. When I return I hope I can give them a 5 star review.

The Texas Tea Room II is one of my favorite places in Marshall! More people need to know about this hidden gem in the heart of downtown. I love the the Tennessee Chicken Salad on nut bread. The staff is so kind and the restaurant is clean and very cute. They even have a ETBU student discount. Make your way over to the Tea Room for a wonderful lunch.

I came by Texas Tea Room II for lunch when I was swinging through Marshall for a day and got the Chipotle Steak Salad, their specialty tea, and a piece of pie. Thoroughly enjoyed it all! Between the great food and the friendly staff, it made me regret that I was only in town for the day. Looking forward to trying some other things on the menu the next time I get the opportunity to stop by.

This place has a great atmosphere and the food was amazing. For an appetizers I suggest the egg rolls and the fried pickles. I got the chicken Ceasar wrap which was delicious. Also our sever Rachel was super nice, very knowledgeable about the menu and she made sure we stayed with refills and just had all around good service and personality.

Had the Chicken Scallopinni. Very good flavor on the pasta. However the chicken was a tad over cooked and dry and there were way too many capers(and I love capers). All I would suggest is cook the chicken to order and go lighter on the capers. Maybe a little more mushroom instead. Over all we had a great experience. I too work in the industry and like the feedback. I hope this helps and use this as constructive criticism and not as a negative comment. Thanks for what you do and we will be back.

This place is a little gem. We went on a Friday and my husband tried the fish special and gave me some of his and it was delicious. I had the chicken salad with fruit and it was very good. We finished off with a piece of pie that was so so yummy. Service was great – glad we found this place!

Very good local restaurant and super accommodating for my food allergies. I’m allergic to soy and they were careful and checked everything to help me find a safe meal. This is our go to for stopping in town. Not too heavy, filling portions. Usually try to visit once a week

Husband and I stopped in for Sunday lunch. Had a daily lunch special menu and a few other items to choose from. I ordered the Chicken Stuffing with MP’s & G and GB’s. Husband ordered the Meatloaf. Food was out quick and was delicious!
