Purchased mixed legs and thighs (4 pieces) and a Giant Italian Steak sandwich. Food was fresh and perfectly prepared. Service was not friendly. I shared genuine friendliness and said thank you multiple times only to be ignored by the gentleman for the most part but to his defense, he was a cute Indian man.

I asked for all thighs and they gave me two wings. I asked for them to be replaced. She took it back and replaced them with two teeny tiny thighs and then said they were in there all the time. As if I don’t know the difference between a wing and a thigh. To top it off being passive aggressively rule. Won’t go back. Don’t play with people’s minds and money.

I’m mad I have to put one star to post. Cuz I wouldn’t give them a star PERIOD!! DON’T EVER GO THERE!! The worst customer service EVER!! A lady covered from head to toe in black wrap was mean and rude. Food was burnt and she wouldn’t correct my order. I asked for a seafood basket that comes with catfish filets and she gave me two burnt fish filets like they serve at McDonalds. She wouldn’t give me tarter sauce and charged me for them. Don’t tarter sauce come with fish?? She said the food wasn’t burnt, said that just how they cook it. She told me I would have to pay for another meal and she said I should have read the menu. I told her I asked her to make sure it was the catfish filets and she said yes. But it wasn’t. I told her that she knows God don’t like ugly and she said so! Wow!! I told her I wanted corporate and she told me just go to the website. I told her I’m giving u the worst review and she should b happy anyone buy from her. And I would ever buy from her again!! So I will make the extra trip and go back to the one on Linwood. So TO EVERYONE DON’T GO THERE!! Times r too hard to waste money with horrible businesses with horrible service and food. Burnt and taste Burnt. Cooking food in dirty old oil I love Texas Tom’s, just not the independence location!!

I have only eaten here once. I decided to order a junior cheeseburger and it turned out to be a little undercooked. With it being late at night I imagine the employees were tired and ready to turn in for the night. Overall, I enjoyed my experience and will most likely be coming back though. The food is overpriced…. they will overcharge you for items. I payed $4.00 dollars for a side of cheese and didn’t even get it. They also charge you a fee to use a debit card it’s not a flat fee it’s a percentage of your total I was charged $3.67 to use my card if I was informed of this I would of have them cash.

A couple of my favorite things here is the Shrimp Basket or a tenderloin with mushrooms. It is always made fresh and is served nice and Hot. Service is always fast and they always include the ranch for my mushrooms and their awesome shrimp sauce even if I don’t ask.
