I was excited to have a Texas chicken up here. coleslaw was very good, chicken was oily and tasted yuck definitely not like the ones from NYC. the biscuits were over baked and darker brown and hard. French fries given with a family meal was a small at McDonald’s type amount. not worth the $26 I spend for the 8 piece meal. I bought a Nashville chicken sandwich on the side which was very very good.

I was super excited to try Tex’s and I was never disappointed……….the Tex’s hell burger and Nashville chicken sandwich were very delicious and the sauces are awesome…………we also liked the fried chicken, it was very juicy and flavorful……….It’s our fist time here and I’m sure it will be one of our favorite spots for burgers and sandwiches

2.5 stars .. I ordered the 2 piece meal with mashed potatoes and drink. My son wanted the chicken sandwich meal. Checked the receipt and only chicken sandwich was put in. Had to put a new order in for fries. Took the order home when they said everything was in the bag. Missing mashed potatoes and my chicken breast was breading and bones. The breading was good and price not bad

If you DON’T like spicy then don’t eat here. Even the “regular” chicken has a kick. YUM! Finally a place that lives up to their “hot” “spicy” label. It is called Tex’s and we all know Texas serves spicy food.

The chicken has no flavor and it was disgusting. The corn on the cob tastes like it just sat in boiled water that is it. I wanted to violently throw up. No one finished there food it will be in the trash. Just nasty everything we got. We ended up driving to KFC right after. With that nasty food still in the car. Please do not waste your money. But if you want nasty food and food poison be my guest.

We were very excited to have a new chicken and burger place open up near us. While the food wasn’t bad, it wasn’t really great. The chicken sandwich had a very thin and rubbery chicken patty. It was very dense and gummy. The fries were overdone and extremely crispy. The staff was nice but definitely not very professional… playing on their phone and eating lunch in a front side closet with customers sitting right there. Can’t say I’ll be tempted to come back any time soon. Also wasn’t a good sign when head cashier asks a coworker to make her something for lunch and asks for something better and “more special” than the menu items.

I had a spicy chicken sandwich and it was delicious. Order of fries, which was very large. While we were sitting eating our dinner, a woman entered the restaurant and went to the soda machine and filled up a cup that she had brought in with her that employees had to address this. This is what makes the atmosphere only two stars, the clientele are a bit sketchy, but the food was awesome.

I am a big dark meat fan, so I stopped into this new place to see how their thighs are. I was very happy with the crispy skin and the tenderness of the chicken I would give that chicken a 9 out of 10. The biscuits were okay they were not too dry or to bland. So yes a solid four stars!

40 min wait for two meals and when we finally got it, the chicken was pink. I know we’re not the only ones unhappy with the service because a couple of others had been waiting for their food longer than than we had and they were pretty upset as well. It looked like they were fully staffed, just lost the whole time while serving and making the food.
