My wife and I have eaten at TGIF a number of times as we live fairly close. We both had the Fried Chicken Sandwich and we’re equally disappointed on this visit. The fries were not freshly cooked. Not sure how old they were, maybe 30 minutes to and hour? The chicken sandwich did not have a fresh texture or taste either.

My husband and I stopped there Monday afternoon after our eye appointments. We were greeted by such a friendly guy that was so nice and happy. He just put us in a great mood. We had a coupon from the Monroe TGIF restaurant because our experience was awful and we decided to use it that day. The food was good and even though it took a little longer for my husband’s food, it was still a great experience. For once we weren’t in a hurry and it was so nice to just kick back and relax. We listened to the music and watched the tv’s so his food taking a little longer was not an issue for us. There’s worse things in life to worry about. Another employee came out and apologized and offered free dessert and a coupon. She was so sweet too. It wasn’t necessary, we were happy to be out and relaxing so we passed on her offer. But all in all, we were satisfied!

There were 5 of us and had to wait about 15 minutes at 6:30 on a Sunday night. We stayed for a couple of hours and went through drinks, apps, main courses and desserts. Everything was fantastic.

The food is great but the girl who clearly don’t like her job that was there closing tonight(7/25/23) claimed her name was “Vivian” paused took a second and then said it smh. Anyway she denied me service for no reason and forced me to use uber eats . I’m a great tipper and always spend almost $150-$200 so this changed my whole feel. So after her denying me of service and claiming I couldn’t even order through the online apps atm had to hand me my food using a fake name. SMH yeah you may have lost my service. I also now have to replan my dinner with my coworkers (group of 15) cause after this we won’t be going there.

Just had dinner there with family. Haven’t eaten here in many years. Was in area this evening, & needed “kid friendly ” restaurant. Poor vibes when I first walked in & noted dirty floor. Went down hill from there. Food was AWFUL!! Couldn’t even eat my fish & chips, too fishy. Coffee was putrid at best. Couldn’t even drink it. Brownie Sunday was even inedible. Grandsons ate it. Kids lack mature taste buds. Restaurant must be dirty, because we spent meal swatting fruit flies while sitting at table. Server was apologetic. One star is for her, although she deserves all 5. She was patient, professional, and lovely. She certainly belongs in a better environment for sure. Never again!! VERY disappointed!!
