I have dined in once and have gotten takeout 3 times and the food quality is excellent!! They opened less than 2 months ago in the middle of peak tourist season, so they are jammed full right after they open at 5pm. They are still balancing how many takeout orders to do vs preparing the dine in guest orders.

Spent a week of vacation at Oak Island, and this restaurant was literally across the street from where we were staying. We decided to go and eat here before our vacation ended as there is not a lot of Asian restaurant options at Oak Island. We went at 7p for dinner and was told that it would be an hour wait. After waiting for 1 hr and 15 mins, we decided not to sit as a large group but break up our group so that we can get seated faster. The hostess/waitress was very nice, and it seemed like they were the only 2 employees besides the owner helping out front. Since we haven’t eaten here before, we decided to order several items off the menu. We ordered the chicken crispy eggrolls, fresh spring rolls, and calamari as appetizers. The peanut sauce that came with the calamari was yummy! We asked for extra of that. Then to our entrees, we ordered chicken pad see ew, chicken and beef drunken noodles, red snapper with sweet chili sauce, a couple of dishes of fried rice, red curry dish and the crispy garlic chicken with garlic sauce on the side. Other than having to wait over an hour for seating and not getting our water refilled as needed, the staff was quite nice and we had a huge order and ended up staying an hour past their closing time. Food was good since it came fresh out of the kitchen and was authentic to taste. We forgot to ask for an itemized receipt, but our total bill was just about over $250. I think if I’m ever back in the area, I would definitely give this place a try again. Giving 3 stars overall for having to wait super long for a table and not getting water refills and getting our food very late as well.

Delicious, flavorful, authentic Thai food with a great variety of top quality meals! Do not visit here when you are in a hurry…relax & enjoy the experience…the servers are very kind and the cooks seem to be working hard, but just be aware it presently takes longer than average to receive your meals. They are probably working on their meal prep process & such. If you order to-go, maybe call the restaurant to see if the order is ready before you swing by…could save you some waiting time. For us, it was worth the wait! ️

I didn’t want to submit my review because I wanted to keep this place to myself! I however have to give props where props are due. Our meal was absolutely fantastic. We had spring rolls, coconut soup, ginger chicken, yellow curry and pineapple fried rice with chicken. All were off the chain. I can’t wait to try everything on the menu! My new go to place! I’m so glad Noodles and Ice cream went big because they sure delivered!

If you can be patient the food here is delicious. Our server Morgan was attentive despite having many tables to cover and the owner was visible and helping out to be sure his employees felt supported. We all loved our meals.

We walked in at 6pm and were sat right away. Everyone was so kind and they even allowed me to order something that wasn’t on their menu a thai omelette in memory of my Grandma. I’m thai and this is one of the most authentic thai restaurants I’ve had in the states. Would highly recommend, worth every penny, everything was delicious and rich in flavor.

We LOVE Thai and Vine! Absolutely the best Thai food I’ve ever had outside of Thailand itself! And the people who own it are the sweetest people! Atmosphere is very nice – there are also a few tables outside. We love their spring rolls, Thai fried rice, pad Thai, drunken noodles… everything we’ve tried! 5 star restaurant!!!

After hearing about Thai and Vine, I drove over to order some take out from St. James for Lunch today. I can vouch for the Cashew Nut (chicken) and the Ginger (beef) and the Fried Rice was very good and light in nature. Everything was delicious.
