I’m not sure how this place has a 4.7 rating. I ordered Thai Fried Rice and Drunken Noodles. The fried rice lacked flavor and it didn’t appear to be fried. It looked like fried vegetables were added to a plate of steamed rice. The Drunken Noodles were Sober Noodles. I’ve never seen such thin, flimsy noodles used for drunken noodles. Drunken noodles are typically spicy. For some reason the dish were sweet. Thai Angel needs to cook Thai food as it should be and stop catering to the bland tastebuds of locals.

We had several appetizers, I had chicken satay, chicken and vegetable steamed dumplings and veggie crispy rolls. These were all very good and the sauce that came with them was also very good. I brought an order of panang chicken home with me for the next day, it was also very good. Was very pleased with food and service. Will go again and highly recommend.

This was hands down the best Thai food I have had. My husband and I move around a lot and have tried multiple Thai places in different states and this place was very unexpected. We will definitely be repeat customers and recommend this place to anyone looking for amazing Thai food.

Busy place so go early. Great to see Thai in New Bern. The service was amazing. The food was great quality and tasty. The pad Thai was a little one note but still good. Maybe because I asked to leave the nuts off.

Green curry is my go too. My husband loved his Thai General Chicken. We have been here many times & with good friends. Always good.

Delicious food and excellent service. It’s not very spicy, so if you like spice at all you probably want to ask for 3/3.

We ordered some of our favorite Thai dishes to see how the local version compared and everything was spot on. Soups were great. We had Tom Kha Gai and Tom Yum as well as a beef salad. Swimming Rama and Drunken Noodles were the main dishes. You can order mild, medium or hot spice levels so you get the spicy level you are comfortable with. We also ordered the sticky rice with mango for dessert it did not disappoint. We enjoyed everything at Thai Angel and would return when in town again.
