We wanted to try the new Lemongrass restaurant on Old Lockwood but arrived to find their doors locked. We ended up at Thai Basil after a quick Google search. Despite being busy on a Friday with several large parties we were seated quickly and greeted for drinks. Servers worked as a team and answered all my questions about ingredients and preparation with great personality. My soup and noodle dish were exceptional. The dining room is clean and small and decor/furnishings are outdated but functional. The restroom was incredibly dusty all over the vanity, flowers, and paper towel dispenser. It could definitely use a more attentive cleaning. Overall, the food and service was wonderful and we will be back and suggest a little more attention to the restrooms.

Amazing food! Incredible service! Great atmosphere and great prices! We really love this delicious place. The Yellow Curry Stir Fry is mind-blowing how delicious it is. Even though I was already stuffed I had to finish the meal. Summer Rolls available Friday nights, get them! And the Coconut Chicken Soup! Not to mention the Sticky Rice Custard dessert! I can’t wait to go back!

Have been here about 5 times now and this place is buzzing for dinner. Constant high quality well prepared and presented. I had the butterfly shrimp on a bed of vegetables and a side of white rice. There were 5 shrimps about 3in long and cut open in the middle. Very delicious. Service excellent as always!
