Nice server and street-level waterfront views. Interior needs an update, and the space is very small. Food was presented nicely and veggies were crisp, but not generous servings, sauces seemed diluted, and flavors were unremarkable. It was ok for a relatively inexpensive and quick meal, but don’t expect fine dining.

Paid $2.00 each for two sides of peanut sauce and this is what I got. The two of them together aren’t enough for one side. When I order $75.00 worth of food and leave a $10.00 tip, this is beyond disappointing and frustrating. The portions have gradually been getting smaller, but I didn’t complain, I just started ordering two, but now even that’s not enough. I’ve been a loyal customer for years, but it’s the little things that keep people coming back. There are plenty of Thai restaurants to choose from, I’ll be moving on.

Tried Thai Charlie’s for the first time Friday and it was a great find. The food is very fresh and light, a welcome change for Kitsap. Excellent customer service, and we felt so lucky to get our DD order in just in time for pickup at 1:40pm. Curry, garlic prawns, and traditional appetizers were all fantastic. So glad we found you. Can’t wait for an excuse to come back for our next meal. THANK YOU to the whole staff for feeding our family.

The dishes I ordered were excellent. They tasted like many of the places/stalls I visited in Northern Thailand. I usually don’t enjoy Thai food restaurants in the US, but I will come back here again.

This is my first time having Thai Food, my girlfriend convinced me to stop by for lunch and I had the best spicy food I ever had!! I don’t really care for curry but I enjoyed the beef green curry and the crab curry. We also ordered chicken holy Basil and it was the best!!!

It was really good fresh food but it was toned way down for the locals. I would try again but if you like real Thai food you have to ask for real Thai food not the watered-down stuff for the dumb white people.

Looking for the best Thai cuisine in Port Orchard? Look no further, Thai Charlie’s excels in quality, presentation, and simply good eats. While it’s easy to gain a favorite after multiple visits, one is pleasantly surprised when stepping outside the comfort zone. Not once have I departed and noticed an aftertaste. The Garlic Prawns are my new favorite, yet there’s always room for those delicious Golden Fried Wings, #3 on the spice level. Lastly the owners are simply good people, a smile is always present. When customer load warrants, they’ll come out for a chat. Definitely worth a stop in, you want be disappointed.

The food tasted like they hadn’t cleaned the grill for months, one of the dishes was over salted, I couldn’t even eat the whole thing I ordered it was so gross, and my stomach was hurting later. I think if I ate anymore I would have been sick. I would only recommend it if you want to get food poisoning but, only then.

We have been coming here for 8+ years but the last few times the quality has gone down, mostly last year or so. Not sure if it is new owners or a new chief. Like another recent reviewer, the massaman curry was watered down, potatoes are small, and no flavor. This used to be our favorite place within Kitsap, Mason, Thurston and Pierce county and would tell everyone to try it. Since we have been coming here for so long we will try it again in hopes that it was just a fluke the last couple times but I post this in case they did make changes so that they can maybe make adjustments.
