We were looking for Thai food while wandering around Berkeley. Just ended up in here without a plan. What incredible luck to stumble across phenomenal Thai food. Sure, no bargain, but no good things come cheap. My food had lots of meat, veggies and tofu, was just the right spicy and came in generous servings. I don’t know what they eat in Thailand having never been, but this is as good as any Thai food I’ve had in several western cities.

After sitting for ten minutes, while the two young waitresses did their best to avoid doing any work, we left, so I can’t comment on the food. We went to another Thai place where the food and service were great, and the prices a little lower. Sorry Thai Delight, but that was our experience.

The food was good. I got a good amount of veggies in my noodles which is usually rare. The portion size was good as well. They have vegan and vegetarian options.

Thai delight used to be one of the go-to cheap takeout spots in Berkeley. However, after it’s remodeling, the portion sizes went down and the prices went up. The more streamlined menu leaves a lot to be desired when compared to the older one. Understandable, of course, as the Bay grows more expensive and selective. Overall, I find it hard to eat here nowadays. Every time I walk by, I’m reminded of the big portions for cheap prices of yore.

I’ve been here three times and each time both the food and service were wonderful. I particularly love ginger stir fry, Tom Kha soup, and the Pad See Ew. Parking is easy, the place is sunny and lovely, and I look forward to many more visits.

Very disappointed with paying $8 for this not even half full mango sticky rice and $4.50 for the smallest Thai iced tea. Anywhere else would’ve given double the amount of rice and mango… is rice getting expensive or something?!

One of the best vegetarian pad Thai I ever had in east bay. Perfect amount of everything. Good enough quantity. I’ll definitely try again. Only issue is slow customer service.

Been a few times and remembered it as a good place, tonight the food was overpriced ($90 for takeout 2 noodles and 2 curries, small portions), of subpar quality, and they forgot to give us our sides of rice. We were disappointed.
