Thai Hut is a well regarded Thai restaurant in Redding and was even recommended by a local. That’s about the best thing about it. The food is okay at best. If you like spicy, make sure that you order a step up because they go lite on spice. They go heavy on sauces so you’ll find a lot of oil and wet stuff on the bottom of your plate. It’s fine for the area but it’s not great.

Perfect lunch for the cold weather. We had a great lunch. Everything was delicious. We had the calamari, sweet and sour fried pork with fries rice and tofu yellow curry. We got pictures this time lol .

Had a delicious lunch here while killing some time in town. We are on the lovely patio with our dog, and the friendly staff were very kind in bringing our pup his own water. We ordered the lunch plate pad pak, lunch yellow curry, and the pineapple fried rice.

I love this place. Their green curry and basil bamboo both with chicken are my favorites! The drunken noodles are also very good.The staff is great too. It’s the only Thai food place in town that I go to.
