We ordered the grilled chicken and Bangkok style duck curry. Both meats were cooked perfectly tender and juicy. My wife prefers a curry cooked together with the choice of meat, as the flavors integrate, however I didn’t mind the presentation. The grilled chicken tasted of lemongrass and an excellent maillard reaction and was accompanied by a papaya salad and sticky rice. When I tasted the green beans from the salad, they were not dressed, chopped, blanched or sweet enough to eat raw. The rest of the salad was delicious and two out of three spice level had the kick you would expect.

Update: Owner reached out immediately and apologized. Issued a refund and offered a free Pad Thai. Impressed with the response so increasing rating to reflect. Ordered pad Thai, NO egg for takeout. Brought home the food after waiting an hour for it to be ready and found a whole mass of egg shells in my food? This is super gross, and after paying $20+ for dinner and then being left hungry because I definitely am not eating this!

The flavors are very strong. Don’t get me wrong – the food was tasty and the flavors were good, but they were a bit too strong. After a few bites, they start to feel too heavy.

I ordered take-out for pad see lew since I’ve been craving it and wanted to try out this Thai place that I haven’t been to before when I passed by it a day ago while going to Trader Joe’s. I ordered two stars and was warned it was going to be very spicy. It was perfect! I think it came with the perfect amount of Chinese broccoli, regular broccoli(?), and seafood! The seafood is high quality. Stems on for the shrimp, great size and the squid and scallops were delicious.

There’s so many things about Thai Maison that are *almost* good. Some dishes are quite pleasing. The service is *almost* friendly. The interior is inviting (and an improvement over the past businesses in that space).

We came into town to visit my daughter and her husband and they took us out dinner. None of us had been to this place before. So, we thought we give it a try. I am glad we did. This place is a bomb. The food taste is very authentic. We had pork belly, currybduck, had Thai, and papaya salad. The foods are so good we had to come back and order some to take home with us. This is definitely a place to be on the list for revisit. Thank you for bringing some authentic taste from Thailand!
