First time in this Thai food restaurant, we liked the atmosphere.

I tried three different Thai restaurants in Vancouver looking for the absolute best Red Curry over rice and this restaurant was by far the best. I liked the taste, that they made me a five star spicy version, and the fact that they didn’t use weird things like Egg Plant or other weird vegetables like most other Thai restaurants do. Very good place for this dish.

Edit… Went back. Still didn’t feel particularly welcome. Rice on the togo order was a disaster. Wrote a second review on their second google page… dropped another star.

Very very disappointed. First off I order online and I select the option of paying in store with my debit card. When I arrived they tell me my order is a dollar more. I show my receipt with the credit/debit card price but they basically didn’t care. Against my better judgment I pay the total with the extra dollar and leave. I tell myself it could still be good food. Then I get home and my pineapple fried rice is full of chicken, chunks of onion and tomatoes. No carrots, peas, bell peppers or cashews as you can see in the attached picture. The curry completely over powered the dish. I had a few bites and that’s all I could eat. I asked for medium spicy but no spice at all in the dish. The chicken was chewy and just taste like a mouth full of curry. I’ve had Pineapple Fried Rice from many Thai restaurants and this by far is the worst.

Very fresh and flavorful as I expect Thai food to be. Tom kha soup and beef waterfall style salad with chicken. You should probably order no spice if you’re weak to it as mild was a little intense. Fast service.

I thought I knew about Thai food and by happenstance, stopped by this place last week for takeout lunch, which was a Pad See Ew and a Pumpkin Curry! i WENT BACK THE NEXT DAY…and the day after for some more Pumpkin Curry with White Meat Chicken and…OMG: this is the best! Chef Paul is just amazing!!!! And if you like duck….you must try the Duck Curry and the Duck Pho. These are not small, hacked up pieces like you would expeience in other Asian restauraints….these are actual duck ribs with rib meat on them: think mini steaks/chops!!! AMAZING! Went there last night for a sit down and I had the catfish dish! Oh my god! Just fantastic!! In a short time, Chef Paul and his masterings have become my favorite ‘go to’ restaurant!
