So flavorful, pineapple curry was my favorite. Every plate can be made out of tofu. Lots of options for vegans. Small size plates, extraordinary delicious and affordable. Service was excellent. We had to eat there everyday, since there’s no much options for vegans around. Soo good

We enjoyed Thai food for lunch. They were willing to make Pad Thai without egg. We enjoyed Sweet and Sour Stir Fry, Garlic pepper stir fry were also great.

Honestly I hate giving a bad review. But $15 for the food for lunch and I left hungry. The portion was a cup of curry soup. With one basil leaf at the bottom and the same size rice turned over on a plate. And the waiter was weird. How? I dunno. Weird. I don’t care about that. But charge a price and feed a body. Didn’t get sick. So….

Basic and generic. My vegetables were still basically raw. Sad that this is the only option for Thai food in the area. Overpriced. Small portions. Basic at best. Waiter was very cold, indifferent. Restaurant was cold and cafeteria like. I sadly won’t be returning. Disappointing. Guess I better learn how to cook Massaman Curry. This small portion was $14 for not very good curry.

Delicious food and the restaurant was very clean and well kept. I ordered take out and the portion size was perfect.

Every December 23, we go out for Thai food to celebrate the life of a family member who passed away. It was her favorite type of cuisine. Since moving to Central Oregon, we hadn’t been to any Thai restaurants. Thai O is a little gem tucked away in a shopping center near Fred Meyer.

My wife and I love this place. We order takeout from here almost every week. Their curry dishes are my favorite! My wife loves the drunken noodle and stir fry dishes.

We really enjoyed the fresh ingredients and presentation. There was attention to detail. The food was a bit cool temperature wise but flavored well. Also I expected a bit more food for the $12 price of each dish. The restaurant decor is more indicative of a fast food restaurant with the booths and tile floor. Wednesday wasn’t too busy during the diner hours but they had a lot of take out orders coming through.

This may be the lowest rating I have given a restaurant but it is fair, I believe. Thai O completely lacks ambience. The interior is cold and cafeteria-like, lacking even the overly bright and obnoxious fast food decor in favor of sparse and uninviting. Our server, who was not Thai, was robotic and relatively indifferent, despite it being an un-busy Monday night. The food was wholly uninspired. I would characterize it as the Panda Express version of Thai food. Truly it was the worst Thai food experience I have ever had. It was not inedible by any means; it was just tasty enough to possibly garner a second visit from some, but not from me.

I ordered pork pad woon sen take out- I was told on the phone it would be about 15-20 minutes. I arrived to the restaurant about 45 minutes later. After being in the restaurant waiting at the cash register for about 10 minutes I was finally greeted by the employee. I informed him I was there to pick up an order and the name that would be on it. I waited an additional 30 or so minutes before he even went to check on the food, just standing around at the front. Finally, he grabbed a to go bag that had been sitting in the window since before I arrived and handed it to me and told me the total. I handed him cash and waited for another 10 or so minutes to receive my change, which never came. I was running late to work by this point so I told him to go ahead and just keep the change and left (he wound up with about a $12 tip which I wouldn’t have given if I had any say). I finally make it home with what I think is my food, only to open it and find I was given what looked like chicken fried rice. I called and told the gentleman on the phone that I was given the wrong food. He said “that’s how we make it here”. I told him Pad Woon Sen according to their website and menu is a noodle dish and the food I received was only rice and vegetables and the wrong protein and asked if I could come back and exchange it for what I ordered and paid for. He eventually told me again that’s how they make it there and hung the phone up on me. Wound up spending about $30 on food I didn’t even eat because I was given the wrong dish and they refused to make it right.
