I am torn with this review. I fell in love with the OG Thai Orchid. My first experience with Thai food was incredible. My wife and I were in the mood and wanted to order and pick up. I was appalled as to the condition of the dining room. We decided to wait at the bar while we waited for our food to be prepared. I watched the waitress down 2 glasses of wine in lieu of bussing the tables. The place wasn’t busy but she didn’t touch one table. I watched for over 40 minutes as she did everything but clean the tables. This made me concerned that the quality of the food would suffer. I will say that the cook has nothing to do with the wait staff. If I were the proprietor, I would take a close look at what was going on in your dining room. The food was awesome, but there is something broken in your dining room.

Walked in and was greeted with a warm smile and and friendly atmosphere! Food was awesome. Ordered the Basil Fried rice. It was delicious and just the right amount of spice. The waitress Emma was wonderful and worked diligently to check on everyone in the restaurant. Will be coming back and will be recommending this place to everyone I know.

This used to be a favorite for my family before Covid shut them down. I was happy to see them finally reopen in a new location down the street. My husband and myself stopped by to grab some takeout. We walked in and put our order and took a seat at the bar while waiting. The place looked nothing like the previous establishment. No decor, and only 2 other couples were seated. A young couple walked in and the hostess seated them at a small table directly in sunlight and next to the walkway/entry where all traffic coming in and out will have to walk by right next to them. When the young man stood up to look around for a better table, and he asks the server to move them to a table more suitable, and she looks around and says “OK, but you’ll have to wait while she cleans the table up”

This was my first time going to this restaurant but after one bite, this will absolutely be my go to spot. The service was top notch! I ordered the vegetarian rolls, green curry with shrimp, mago and sticky rice. All of it, every single bite, YUMMO!! From the aromatics of the green curry, to the homemade sweet and sour sauce that came with the veggie spring rolls, to the ridiculously amazing mango and sticky rice. This was THE best food I’ve had since I’ve been in OH!

This was my favorite Thai restaurant before they moved. I used to go there at lease once a week. The food I used to order don’t taste the same anymore. The food is EXTREMELY SALTY! Especially the noodle dishes. You need to cut the amount of salt/soy sauce you put into these dishes. The sodium numbed my mouth and I had to drink lots of water. They made me dehydrated and I didn’t even peed the entire night.
