Thus was my first time ordering food from this place. I was absolutely disappointed by the Chicken Pad Thai. The color was the first thing that threw me. I’ve never had straight orange Pad Thai before. Ok fine. The noodles were dry, the chicken was tasteless. It had huge chunks of onion in it, no egg and a lacking portion of chicken. I ordered off doordash so I can’t comment on the service or atmosphere. I got the regular sized order and the portion size of the meal was large. It came with a couple spring rolls and some kind of soup.. the rolls were pretty good. I did not eat the soup. That too was rather flavorless. This place came so highly recommended off a fb group and I was so excited to try it. But needless to say, I won’t be coming back to this one.

We have eaten here multiple times . This one is located inside Harris Teeter Grocery store by Atrium Wake Forest Baptist hospital. They have take out and about 6 tables for dine in. I think they are in DoorDash and or Grubhub too. We have done all 3.

I just moved to New York City from Winston-Salem and man, I cannot express how much I miss Thai Sawatdee. I have tried so many Thai places here since and they have been NOWHERE near as good. Thai Sawatdee was a really good deal, you get huge portions, and service was always friendly, fast, and consistent. The curries are amazing (creamy, spice-accurate to the level you tell them, and full of a ton of fresh and varied vegetables) and the way they cooked their tofu was perfect. Winston folks—don’t take Thai Sawatdee for granted!! For my own sake I hope it isn’t the best US Thai food I ever have but it just may be…

Delicious Thai food! Everything I ordered was so full of flavor and didn’t have excessive amounts of sodium. The restaurant is inside of a Harris Teeter so there isn’t an abundance of seating. My entree had a healthy amount of chicken in it which some places skimp on or provide thin, poor quality chicken but that is not the case here!

Go to the Healy Drive location for sit down service and excellent food.

Really solid place. Curries are amazing. Quite low prices for the quantity and quality. Easily the best Thai in Winston and better than many places I’ve been elsewhere.

The Thai Sawatdee-Cloverdale Location Experience (Call In/Carryout Edition). So this was my second time dining at the Thai Sawatdee Cloverdale location. I cannot say my first experience was memorable, but I was willing to give them another try.

I got the pad thai beef and pad see ew. The taste was decent but certainly not the best. The pad thai noodles were yellow which I’m not used to but I’m willing to try new things. The spring roll was also yellow inside, not sure which vegetable it was. Overall the taste was average. I don’t think I’ll be back but I’m glad I tried it out.

Go for some of the most spectacularly amazing and lovingly crafted Thai food you have ever had. Located inside of a Harris Teeter with only a hand full of tables. This place is all about it’s food so don’t expect beautiful ambiance. Oh, do yourself a favor and try the crispy spicy duck salad! It is truly one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. The combination of textures, flavors, and temperatures will bring you estacy!

Love this place! I have been twice and both times my Pad Thai has been delicious. They offer 4 levels of spiciness; I ordered 3 both times. They use my favorite type of skinny rice noodle—much better than other places that use the flat, almost-linguine-style noodles. You get the entree, a cup of soup, and two egg rolls with the lunch order of Pad Thai. Customer service is great, very friendly. Also, this place is located in Harris Teeter…took me awhile to find it my first time! I will definitely be frequenting this place.
