Comfortable environment. Good service. Okay food. Fresh roll was wrapped nicely and had good texture and flavor. The soup was on the fishy side making me question the freshness of the seafood ingredients. The red curry had a nice spice to it (ordered hot), but the flavor profile was not as bold as I expect from red curry and the texture was too soupy. So overall, just an okay experience.

As an Asian who has been to Thailand several times before, I’m very happy with the food here. The only thing I hope they would improve is the peanuts used in our salad, they were too old (and some burnt) I could taste the oil, but that’s me being finicky. The restaurant itself is small but cozy, and the decorations are really Thai, they look interesting. The place was a bit busy when we were there so the waiters were quite busy, but they’re sweet. Overall I’ve had a satisfying experience, and highly recommend. PS: I may be biased bc I’m a Vietnamese, and this place reminds me of mu home country a lot!

My Wife and I felt like trying somewhere new and decided to stop in at the Thai Town Restaurant in Dunedin. We were pleasantly surprised! We ordered Curry Chicken and a Beef Fried Rice, both “Hot”, next time we will drop that down a heat level! They have beer and wine. Beer choices are limited, but the Thai beer was good. Prices are very reasonable. Two meals, three beers, $40+-. Of course, alcohol was almost half the bill :). Service was excellent, attentive. We will definitely return!

Excellent, tasty Thai food, reasonable prices, and friendly service. Weekday lunch specials – pictured are shrimp with hot chili sauce and chicken with garlic sauce, Tom yum soup, and fresh rolls. They will customize the spiciness level: 1 mild, 3 medium, 5 Thai hot. 4 Hot was perfect for us – zippy, but not painful.

finally, after so many years of riding my bike by this place, we went for dinner tonight. we ordered basil noodle and green curry both hot! may i say this was the best thai food i have had in this area and i have been to thailand and i am chinese, so i know what good thai food should taste like. and they were both reasonably priced. the place is cozy and decor is lovely traditional thai which i like. it was relatively quiet tonight which i also liked. the service was fast and focused …. no chitchatting or bantering around that i often times see in restaurants in this town. i now cannot wait to go back!

Authentic Thai food at its finest!! We ordered the Panang curry, chicken pad Thai and mango sticky rice and it was delicious. This place serves home style dishes, simple and perfect. Would definitely return again.

Went in for pickup. Lady getting order seemed irritated that I was there, but I was irritated that it cost $5 over what I would normally pay at my favorite restaurant which is closed on Tuesdays. My favorite Thai restaurant is on Patricia near Dunedin Elementary and Middle School. It’s way cheaper, super nice staff, and the food is so much better. Larger portions and the noodles are cooked correctly. The flavor is right on and the Thai hot is actually really hot. The food at Thai town doesn’t taste authentic and that’s what I disliked the most. It tasted like unhealthy Chinese food, not the complex deliciousness we have come to expect from Thai food. The rice was more like the white rice you get from a Chinese restaurant, not the long grain jasmine rice we are used to. In any case, I guess I will just have to forgo Thai food on Tuesday. This is the second time I have tried this restaurant and I was incredibly disappointed the first time too, when the bogo garlic chicken I ordered was simply one meal placed in two boxes. That one actually made me angry, but this most recent let down was due to quality of the food. Unfortunately this restaurant has lost my business. Sorry to have to leave such a low review. It’s embarrassing for me and the restaurant. I hope they fix these issues, but given that they are already doing these things I don’t think they will change their ways.

Dining in: Noodles were hard, undercooked, and came covered in burnt pieces all over the dish that I assumed was pepper. Nope. It was like chewing plastic. The drink glass wasn’t cleaned properly and when I poured the can in there was a seed in the glass that floated to the top from the previous person. Waiter is non-existent as they prioritize carry out drivers in the sense of service but also food. You will see 3 carry out bags appear before your food as you sit there. You will wait 25 minutes before she comes back to you each time.

Very nice small place…a bit slow. But we need to relax and give this place a visit because food is prepared fresh.

Authentic Thai food and very friendly staffs. I and my family came here for the first time and everyone love the food. The service is very good too. We had fried fish with basil sauce , chicken green curry, pineapple fried rice, mango sticky rice, mango cheesecake for desserts, etc. We are sure to visit this place again and would recommend it to everyone who wants to try authentic Thai food.
