We ordered 2 dishes that were both marked as “spicy” on the menu. We selected mild for both (the options for spice level are none, mild, medium, and spicy). Both our dishes were very spicy – the kind of spicy that makes your eyes water and your throat burn! This was not a terrible thing – they were both very delicious! But I was not expecting that much heat. So just be aware that if you see the pepper on the menu, they’re not playing around.

The long long wait is over! We went to grand opening today. Outstanding meal here. I had the Pineapple Fried Rice and my colleague had the Thai Famous Red Curry .

I read a review saying this place was great. It’s true! The lunch portion of the fried rice was generous as well as delicious. I had spicy fried rice with chicken. Can’t wait to visit again and try their curry.

I think this is the best Thai restaurant in Chapel Hill. I’ve been coming here since they opened and it has always been great!

Excellent Thai food with a good menu. The space is very small with only about 4 tables so don’t expect a seat unless it’s off hours. They seem to mostly do food service via delivery or take out but the dishes are all very good and carefully crafted. Highly recommended for the food for take out or delivery.

It’s not a very big dine-in place. Tons of people were doing takeout. We have a baby, so it was disappointing that they didn’t have a single booster seat. The service was good and fast. We got the pad thai with chicken and split it between two people since the serving was so big. It’s not the best pad thai but also not the worst. It was a good large portion that could easily be shared by two. I will eat here again.

I was at Staples this morning and noticed signs of a new restaurant in the space that the wonderful Red Pepper (RIP) occupied for many years. I came by for lunch and had the Pad Kra Prow (with chicken). The small salad was a surprise: tremendous detail in the presentation and a yummy ginger dressing. The Pad Kra Prow was rather mild. I told our server and he brought by the chili power and paste to spice it to taste. Wonderful. The vegetables are better than anything we get at the grocery store. There are lots of other dishes to explore here; their Pad Thai is next on my list…

I ordered Khao soi (chicken noodle which are my favorite)and my friend ordered pad Thai. Both taste awful and we lost appetite after 2 to 3 bites. I had diarrhea afterwards. Will not come again.
