It’s okay. When I got a drink, the little nosil fell off, and soda got all over the floor. The burger was good, fries ok. Also, I got a milkshake. That was ok, though.

I can’t resist trying a burger joint in any city. I found this one on the north side of Chicago as I was headed back to my hotel. I was a little worried when I pulled up to the restaurant, and there were no cars in the lot. The place picked up business quickly once I ordered and sat down. The burger was good, and the fries were good. The ice cream shop it is connected to has a great shake! FYI

Well had a craving for both Oberweis and That burger joint since I had a craving. All is well however I probably will not come at this particular location after experiencing the disappointing limits of dining in and a somewhat aggressive confrontational staff on the that burger joint side of the establishment. If photography is forbidden to staff members than please post a noticeable sign about that. I understand I guess the privacy of certain employee not wanting to get pictured despite the open kitchen at that burger joint cooking but due understand that their will be a gray area of people yelping, using Google and trip advisor to post reviews on their dining experience despite the pandemic. If such the case you do not need to be aggressively hostile towards the customer next to a manager to be so aggressively confrontational. Other than that beware by accident not to do this otherwise That Burger Joint staffing will scold you like a bad child who didn’t know or understand why or what went wrong while waiting and taking pics for other viewers to see the ambiance. I could have given 3 stars but that wouldn’t be fair because the food was good but the staff kind of gave me a bad taste in my mouth of how they talked to me.

Extremely convenient location with plenty of parking spots right in front of it. They serve incredibly tasty burgers and made to order shakes. That Burger Joint is always clean, well organized, employees are professional, quick and polite. Love this place and I am so happy that they are in my neighborhood!

If I could give zero stars I would. I ordered online for That Burger Joint, only to arrive and find out that THEY ARE CLOSED. I did it on their official website, and received no notification that they were closed. Was told that they can’t do a refund until they are open again and also told that it was my fault for ordering on the website and not calling. Ironically, when I called the number for the place the voicemail says they strongly recommend you place orders online. This isn’t the first time I’ve had issues with this That burger joint and Oberwiese. The staff is rude, obnoxious and completely unhelpful, yet they seem to be overstaffed with most of them just standing around doing nothing. Every time we’ve ordered shakes here which is only been three times the quality is completely different. and they’re either completely overwhelmed on the inside of the building, or for some odd reason it’s randomly closed and only the drive-through lane is open. I’m never going to this place again it is completely mismanaged.

I’ve been here now more than a handful of times and like the joint, but it needs some improvements to make it better. The burgers are alright, but more than half of the time on a order, my fries are just lackluster. They could be either more fresh or cooked for a little less time. Other than that I would say that the tables need a good cleaning here. There is a weird stickiness to them that is hard to describe and because of this it may make you feel like the table you eat on is dirty, even if it isn’t.
