I live in the Caribbean and haven’t had a chance to stop here in years, but anytime I’m driving between Virginia and New York/New England, I structure my trip around a stop here. I think I first came to try their Old-Forge-inspired pizza, and left with ingredients and instructions on how to recreate it at home. Since then I’ve tried a bunch of their other pies. There is a lot of variety, not just of toppings, but of actual pizza styles here. Joe is amazing. He’s super friendly and a real pizza scholar who with a broad repertoire and a dedication to getting the styles right. I also have to weirdly give five stars to the location. If ever there was a hole in the wall, this is it. The first time you go, you’ll think you’re in the wrong industrial park. Somehow that makes it cooler. And for anyone traveling down the interstate like me, it’s a really convenient and comforting place to always get a warm smile and a hot slice crafted with care and skill.

Stoped in while on vacation 2 months ago,it took 10 minutes BEFORE i was recognized!the lady behind the counter was too busy writing/texting to take my order,finally i received it,poor quality and service,a middle schooler had better manners than she,backwater environment,YUK.

First time we have tried this restaurant. We lucked out because they had just opened for the day but that didn’t stop them from getting our order quickly. We happened to be waited on by the owner who was incredibly nice and I could tell he was a great person. He had just been through some difficult medical issues but that didn’t slow him down one bit! We had a nice conversation with him and headed home to eat our subs. Have to say they were pretty darn good! Especially liked the rolls. The only reason they got 4 stars is that they forgot my blue cheese and a chicken wing sub is not complete without it. We will definitely be back again!
