This is the type of hidden gem which is a true dive cafe. Came in here late just before midnight for some snacks after an evening at the bar. The security guy at the door was not only ID checker, but host who led us to our table. The bartender who waited on us was very friendly and food came out super fast. Pancakes were perfect, and the chicken strips were as good as they come. The atmosphere is eclectic and entertaining, and I suppose not terrible surprising that underneath the dark it’s quite dirty (especially the restroom).

This is the most unique place I’ve ever ate at in my life! I really like the well decorated interior and the funny menu. Every bite of the reuben sandwich is perfect and the waiter is very friendly. Legendary is right! This is not just a place to eat. This place is about the food, the music, the BLOODY MARY’S, the decor, and the cool people that work there. Loved it! The host had the best 80s vibe going on, along with the best 80s songs playing… Debarge and Zapp?!? What!? We were eating and dancing and living our best life at The 5 Point Cafe. Walking down 1st Ave on my last night in Seattle I noticed a street off to my right that had lights strung out across it. I decided to go check it out and noticed the 5 Point Cafe. As soon as I walked in I knew I was going to like it. It’s very unusual because it has two distinct counters, one a bar then the other is a diner. They both are connected in the shape of a U, but are 2 different rooms. The bar closes at two I believe, but the diner is open 24/7.

Hipster vibe, but also dirty. The alleged 15-minute wait was more like 40. Service was slow. The serving plate was super hot but the cheese tots were not. Overall, less than expected and overpriced for what we got. Maybe just an off day for a Sunday.
