We celebrated my husband’s 40th birthday here last weekend. It was a surprise party for him. Frank was absolutely amazing to work with and very accommodating. The food was amazing and everything came out at the same time for 20 people and the staff was incredible. Def would recommend for your next gathering! Thanks again to the Abbey to making my husband’s party so memorable!

My wife and I have wanted to try here for many months now. Wish we didn’t waste time. It was fantastic. We went here for the Sunday brunch special. You get a starter, entrée, and dessert. You can also do bottomless alcohol choice of mimosa, screw driver, or Bloody Mary for a small additional fee. Lots of parking in the lot. The entire staff is friendly and helpful. They consistently checked in on us which was very nice considering how busy they were. Multiple TVs which had different football games when we were there. We didn’t sit at the bar area, but it looked fun. Lots of great decor and a great atmosphere inside.

Im writing this review after being here three times, although i did get the cheeseburger with fries two out of three times. I d however still like a great cheeseburger and fries, as a reference, good or bad, i love 5 guy’s cheeseburger and fries. With this being said my food was great all the times there! Took forever to get food 45 minutes and no one refilled water or checked in asked multiple time but apparently team servers so no one did anything. Started with calamari which was very rubbery. Kids chicken tenders are a preformed chicken tender. Then when food came 2 burger then 10 minutes later 2 kids meals the 5 minutes later the last burger. Food was hot but over all I would not go back

The service is usually great and it has a nice atmosphere. The only issue is that the food is hit or miss. Example: we like the wings, egg rolls, and loaded nachos, but the last time we went, the nacho chips looked like a torch was used on them (burnt) and our wings were very inconsistently cooked: some done well, some gooey skin, and some were cold. Wish the food was always consistent.

Surprising quality and comfort for a ‘strip mall’ restaurant. Friendly, efficient waitstaff. Spacious and neighborly, with nice Irish decorations featuring intricate Celtic knot-work. Bathrooms clean and there is fast wi-fi. Parking ample out front. Prices very affordable. About eight beers on draft, and several others in bottles. Small selection of desserts but all very tasty. The Litchfield County Libertarian Party regularly meets here on the month’s final Sunday, in the afternoons.

This place was recommended by a friend who is a chef. I had the bacon cheeseburger with a side of coleslaw. The burger was huge and cooked perfectly – one of the top burgers I’ve had.
