Great selection of food. Had a bbq brisket sandwich & it was excellent. Could have used a side of fries but they don’t offer any. You can order from the 3 different food counters, sit at a table & get a drink from the bar. Everything looked good from the 3 food counters. Staff all work together in 3 & were great. Location is the only negative. Walked from the Metro North train & the area was kind of run down.

Had a nice quick bite and a beer at Poughkeepsie’s up and coming food hall and wedding venue, The Academy! Food was great and reasonably priced. You could tell they were doing some updates and modifications after the initial opening, which is exciting to look forward too. Overall, great ambiance and tons of options for whatever the group desires! Will return and looking forward to the rest filling in.

First time at Academy and we are blown over not just by the food and ambiance but by the atmosphere. Super friendly staff and amazing vibes. We tried the East West and it was impressive. Would highly recommend the pork belly boa bun and pork belly ramen. We tried caramel macchiato Starbucks style only better. The manager of the cafe was super sweet and the coffee he made was out of the world. We can’t wait for this project to be complete …… can only imagine how beautiful and happening it will be. If you happen to be a Ptown and need a bit or place to just hang out, then definitely head over to Academy. It’s super impressive.

Where do I even start. The entire composition of this business is high scale and unique; from the artwork on the outside of the building to the rustic, industrial interior. Everything I ordered was insanely delicious. You have to try the ramen and pork dumplings. I love the atmosphere and I can’t wait to go back. I was really impressed.

My partner and I visited last night for the first time, and we had ramen. Parking was easy (lot right across) and it didn’t cost us anything due to the later hour. We had ramen from East-West which was decent enough as well as banana pudding from the BBQ joint. What I liked most was the vibe of the space for the food hall. We plan to visit again and try the other places. It was somewhat empty when we arrived at 7pm but got busier as time passed. They’re only open until 9pm so I hope they will have slighlty later hours on the weekend. Worth a visit!

So far only the vendors seem to be open with different food choices, and a bar area. There was a nice open area for seating. It would make for a nice place to go for lunch on your lunch break, or to meet friends or coworkers after work. I was told that the ribs and Mac and cheese were excellent.
